Here's something else for the conspiracy theorists:

What if the cure for cancer is found and it is NOT in the US? Americans suffer from Cancer at a much higher rate than the rest of the world. What if the cure is found by an Asian country or an African country? Not saying that it will, but the implications of us (America) needing something that another country discovers are very interesting and scary at the same time.

yet...

the united states consumes over 50% of all prescribed pharmaceuticals...

that was approx 170 billion rx's...

&

yet...

the U.S.A. is the 29th healthiest country...

28 other countries are healthier than us.

they have a cure for cancer...

but with with billions at risk...

better to just treat the symptoms...

give 'em a few more years.

I believe they do have some cures for cancer....

I wish they just release them to the public...

My father just past away from Mesothelioma ...6 months ago...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mesothelioma

I sure would love to have him still around..

but thats not gonna happen....

so back to status quo...

There is just to much money involved to let the cancer cure outta the bag...:>(

No, there is no cure for cancer anymore than a cure for the common cold. While I agree that corporate conspiracies happen (speaking corporate/military/contractor conspiracies, I am still 50/50 on whether some factions of our govt agencies where complicit in allowing the 911 attack), cancer is a multifaceted predation with different characteristics depending on the organ and the organ's weakness (obviously some environmental and genetic factors). If you think that corporate gains are the reason that existing cures remain hidden, then you have to give equal weight to the argument that there are also corporate gainful payouts for cures. Maybe my logic wouldn't work for how the rubber and oil companies conspired to promote automobiles in killing off public transportation. I grant that. But I work in the research world, and I am stone sure that no anti-cure conspiracy exists not because I have any faith in human nature; my reason is that I don't.

this sums it up

people will always say there is a conspiracy behind everything, and alot of the times they make very strong and logical points
911 attacks, aids was a created virus, moon landing was a fake, jfk assassination, even sports being rigged

there is no doubt that people are corrupt and some of these possibly are conspiracies but without proof its all speculation and opinion

If they ever find anything, seems like it will probably be related to stem cell therapy. This has shown promise in helping to repair cells after chemo or radiation treatment

Not sure if you have read about this but tons of MMA guys lately are going down to Colombia to get the stem cell to treat injuries. The regulations down there allow for the lab work to be a little more thorough in counting the # of cells you can shoot into the body (I don't exactly understand this process but thats the crux of it)

Masvidal/Usman both went down recently, Shamrock/Liddell/Cejudo all said it benefitted them. Rogan said he sends his mom there (he himself goes in the US) I saw it on 1 of his pods

Obviously it is expensive but maybe a matter of time before it becomes a more normal procedure.

Yea, I know a few who've had it done here locally and say it helped their knee. The problem is it's not covered by insurance, and one injection is about $3-6K. Ouch. However, the recovery time is awesome, 2 weeks max, and hardly any PT involved...

If they can get insurance to jump on board and make it more affordable, I think you'll get massive amounts of people wanting to try it. It sure beats going under the knife, or at least allowing to get done before having to go down that route...
