It is inexcusable it wasn't brought up tonight. It routinely polls as a top 2-3 issue for the American people.

Biden is for no deportations first 90 days and many in his party are for decriminalizing border crossings. That was his field day, even more cut and dry than the law and order stuff.
Only theory I can come up with as far as trumps strategy .
I think there are less undecided voters at this point in the election process then ever .
What debates normally are about is targeting the independents and undecided voters not the base .

So maybe he is targeting voter turnout trying to get the base fired up as there are virtually no undecideds at this point .

Since his bar was so low to begin with and the fact that he already has a lead in the polls he did not have to help himself .
Some people’s expectations for Biden was so low that all he had to do was not die on stage and he would exceed expectations .
At lest Biden could stand. Trump held the lectern like it was his walker. Those behind camera shots also didn't do Trump any favors.
Also, unless one of these 2 poops themselves, these debates will make close to 0 difference. Everybody already knows everything there is too know about these 2.
At the end of the day - Trump has people that would crawl through a sewer to vote for him - and there is not one person in the country that is waking up and saying they have to go vote for Joe Biden - there are only people that are voting along their party line or voting against Trump - but no one is voting for Biden - we will see how many people show up
