What's the big deal phoning them? You won a dime from them and are worried about a phone call that costs a couple of bucks. You spend all this time coming here defending your position. Make the phone call. I would have to think there is more to this story as well. I would like to think they are doing it as an additional security measure. It is just that I am pretty disappointed with this book anyhow and on top of that this extra hassle comes. Actually when I opened the account I had to phone them too and something that should have taken no more than 5 minutes, then took some 15 minutes, so I have a strong email preference and if they need some documents, I will be happy to fax to them, but calling them and having me starting to scream in their local language may cause some real upsets!

Shrink please step in on this one. Royal just started advertising again here and are building a rep back. Now comes this guy who sends a dime bets on an average of a dime now is complaining on a lousy phone call for a payout. Make the call and get out. Have you ever made a withdrawl from Royal?? Do they know you are who you say you are?? Its in your favor for them doing this. Maybe a little aggrevation for you but safety is a major concern here. Royal is a good book befdore, now and in the future. Your complaining here will not hurt them at all. Make the call and stop wasting peoples time!

ACW was involved in the SIA scam that was dicussed at great length at many forums. He is not a straight shooter and uses these forums to help his cause. Guy bets 2 dimes a rattle and is worried about a 10 dollar phone call. Get real. These forums have to do what they can to let everyone know about the bogus books as well as players. IMO anyways.

To those who think this thread has no place here...the title says exactly what the beef is, no more, no less. If that is so insignificant, why are you worried about thousands of people seeing it?
I'm simply amazed at the large number of people in the "hush hush" crowd, ie. people that don't want a free and open exchange of information on the dealings between players and books. They would love to call "slanderous" a thread that says nothing more than the actual situation. They would love to have censorship invoked and move it to a place where no one can see it. I really can't believe I am sharing the planet with such people and am considered part of the same species.

Don't you think Fishhead's "Kerry" thread should be moved to Politics? I'm just saying this because I think consistency is important in forum moderation to retain credibility. I'm not happy about this thread being moved, but I can accept it if I can see the principles of moderation being applied consistently.
