Bet2Gamble-
1) Inability to contact a player is NOT sufficient grounds to cancel the wager AFTER the event has ended. WSEX does not have those same "application requirements" as you stated for Youbet. If Revere was with Youbet, then maybe he would have supplied such information or not played there. Are you saying the books can stiff every player with incorrect/incomplete information?
2) At the time the problem was discovered, we have only Steve's claim that no one was there to cancel the wager. According to posters familiar with WSEX's location, Steve or someone else could have been there in 10-20 minutes. WSEX has give NO explanation for why it took them 5 hours to cancel the bets (and didn't even start until they knew the outcome). There is NO evidence or claim that they were physically unable to cancel the wager in a timely fashion.
3) Does WSEX even have an arbitration clause or claims of limited liability?
4) Is there a single post rule from WSEX's site that Revere violated?
5) Wasn't WSEX negligent for not having proper staff on site?
6) WSEX's representative, Steve, made a false claim on this forum that the wagers had been cancelled prior to the event. He was forced to retract that statement when Revere presented evidence to the contrary. Lies in one part the the testimony hurt the rest of the testimony.
7) Do you think that WSEX would have had the right to keep all of Revere's money if the bet had lost?
If books like WSEX are allowed to past-post (past-cancel), then no one would trust them to play there. Any past-posting by player or book is strictly forbidden.
