JJ is a passionate advocate on the player's side.He reacts instinctively in favor of the player and sometimes shoots from the hip.The books are rich and powerful. You did them a big favor by banning JJ Gold.

THE SHRINK - Seriously...what was this guys trip? Was he really the INSIDER and sports expert he kept puking-up in every thread he polluted?

The statement he kept making all the time that made him SMELL like sour milk was :

Oh I'm soo tired of ALWAYS being right! etc etc.

#5 in your list above is more than enough to ban him.

This guy kept posting that he was this BIG expert etc etc and then he would go on and make the most assine statements.
All this did was make it look like (to newbies)that experts like him on the Rx were 12 year old MORONS.

Ban him and only let him back if he promises to stop posting like a 12 year old.

JJ reminds me of "Sonny" from "The Godfather". Always flying off the handle before he has a chance to think things through.

I've see JJ turn on players and call them scammers. This was the case in the WSEX problem a few weeks back, where the player bet too big on tennis, but WSEX appeared to have past-posted by cancelling the bet after the match finished.

The problem I have with JJ is when he shills for books. It looks like he has some little side deals or is expecting some kind of payback.

As for the rest of JJ's comments, they tell me which way the wind is blowing: the opposite to whatever JJ says. He almost never has real news or inside info, unless he is repeating info from a respected poster.

He should be banned for life after one of the last htings he posted.

In a thread...a player didnt get paid fast enough....so he told the guy "threaten to report them to the feds" no place for a guy like that in any situation!

As for creditability, how much of anything that we read on the internet can be taken seriously. I personally never followed his posts here--so it's hard for me to give an honest opinion. IF and only IF he was definately lying about a book then I would say he was banned correctly. No book or person for that matter should have lies told about them. I don't know any facts about "JJ Gold". But if this person was a "he" why did it read "a lady passing by" under his avitar! The whole internet thing is a little errie. Every day I get 5 spam ads telling me that I can increase a certain part of my anatomy if I will buy their product. Well-I wasn't looking to increase it for starters! LOL

It is like you just fumigated The Rx. Now please try to keep it free of vermin. You will be much better off without JJ's kind of irrational posts. His constant reference to FBI, or the other side of that coin his so called mob connections are ludicrous. Personally I have nothing against him, but he difines the word TROLL. Look at his needless attacks on Angelle, why attack her? Because she is a woman, and he feels like he will get attention by picking on her with no reason. There are countless other attacks that could be searched and quoted but I think you get my point. I say he should stay banned. Sorry JJ.

Yes, imagine if you were a new poster looking at the rubbish that he wrote. I was warned beforehand but in all honesty the guy's posts are over dramatic. Banning him was the right thing to do.

The Guy has no class. After seeing what he posted about Shrink and the RX at that Ghost Town, i hope he stays banned. If he does'nt, can you at least confine him to the rubber room.

Shrink, resons 4 & 5 were dead on. But I don't believe in banning someone just because they are annoying at times.

If you/or the Mods don't like JJ's post(s) or thread DELETE IT, with an explanation of course.

Banning someone from a public forum smack of totalitarianism IMO.

I can't see anyone complaining because one or more of JJ's posts were deleted. Simply use the 6 reason criteria for banning him in making your desision to delete his post(s) or thread.

JJ should never be barred. He is always looking out for the player and defends his position with a passion that most don't have.

We need Jimmy Chitwood to come in here and say "It's about time I started posting again. One thing though.....I post, JJ stays.....He goes, I go."

No one wants to post some picks only to have someone else post his with them. There have to be some posters banned who make a forum undesirable to post in.

If you let guys like this continue to bother good posters they will post elsewhere. It's necessary to keep the good posters here.

Good work.

Ken,

You did the right thing because its one thing to say something that you can't substantiate once in a blue moon, but JJ did it almost daily. Opinion is fine, but to constantly take shots at people and books with no backing whatsoever is truly too much. He could say hey, I worry that such and such book is in trouble, but to just come out and take shots at their credibility crosses the line.

Only thing you can do is actually take his advice, give him his own forum, but ban him from all others. If people want to read him and be somewhat entertained by that, you could keep it aside where people know there is a major disclaimer. He said he wanted his own forum, well there is a way to accomodate him and allow most of us to keep our sanity.
