Because they can't stop talking about him!! It's Sunday and all I keep hearing about is how Vick played last Monday.

yes it was a phenomenal game but it was against a crap defense and it was just one game!!

How many times have a player had a breakout game, whether it's a running back or wide receiver?

Yet Vick's big game causes such a hoopla.

If he did that consistently over a season, ok but my goodness they are talking about Vick as if he's the best player to ever play the game, and he hasn't even won a Super Bowl.

Ok venting done. Good luck this Sunday! :103631605

Nope, the cock-sucker pulled dog teeth out with pliers or ground them down with grinder. Keep pullin' for him, hope he wins the MVP.

Nobody wants anything from Mike Vick. People are commenting on what he did. The funny thing about you low frequency Mike Vick fans is you think he is a victim.

He's not. He is an animal abuser and you're the loser:lolBIG: that roots for him.

He did his time true BUT it takes an extremely disturbed, evil human being to harm and kill those innocent animals. I have heard numerous times people saying ok so the guy made a "mistake" which I find quite amusing, he ran a criminal enterprise on land that he owned where people would bet on dog fighting and he would personally kill the dogs with his own two hands. This is hardly a "mistake." IMO a mistake would be if he was merely a spectator at these events. I give him credit for working hard to be where he is right now but I will never confuse a good athlete with a good human being. For an individual to even be capable of commiting these hurendous acts of cruelty on innocent, helpless animals is incomprehensible to me and a sign that he is a deeply disturbed human being who I would hope is receiving some type of psychological treatment.

In no way do I agree or support Vick's actions, but how is he any different than those that kill Cattle or chickens or any other animals, you carnivores eat? Part of the reason for the disgust for Vick is because dogs are pets in many peoples houses, would this really have been a story if this was done with, say tigers?

My point is how does he differ from any other slaughter house? Before you proceed to provide that he was doing it for sport argument, either way the animals are being slaughtered.

dogs just arnt pets, they are family members in american society which just shows you how pathetic people are.

the average person will have more of a reaction with this then another human being tortured and killed.

many countries have dog on the menu as a delicacy, you want to really know how they kill them? many countries treat these dogs like rodents and blow there heads off because they run around all over like mice, breed too often, and are not controllable. the response from the average joe is well, they are not civilized, thats why they do that.

my response is, you live in a society where an animal is more important than a human, who are the civilized ones?

only in america have we propelled a dog over the level of a human being. that just speaks to the pussification of the country and the complete idiocy of many dog owners who do treat the dog as a family member and more.

vick got completely railroaded and made an example of. im not defending what he did as it is sick, but im saying he should've never gone to jail for killing dogs to begin with.

now the gambling involved and the interstate commerce part of it is a different story. the killings though, no jail time imo.

he freaking held them under water with his own two hands and drowned them. he electrocuted them. he hung them. and oh yeah he fought them for money. I mean come on I don't understand why this is so hard for people to see. this wasn't just some one time small mistake. it's not just about him killing them it's more of HOW he did it. it takes one sick fuck to hold a pups head under water and drown it or freaking hang it from a tree. I'm sick just thinking about it right now.

Can I see an article where Vick admits to killing them with his own two hands?

I'm being serious.

Mike Vick actually can cure cancer but only in dogs... and only in the Jack Kevorkian method of fixing it.

Michael Vick, the Atlanta Falcon’s Quarterback, signed a guilty plea to federal dog-fighting charges.

In his Statement of Facts, Vick agreed to paying “approximately $34,000” for property located in Smithfield, Va. to train, breed, and house pit-bulls for dogfighting, and engage in dogfighting events with others.

Vick also admitted that, together with his co-defendants, he killed approximately 6-8 dogs that did not perform well. Vick admitted to killing the dogs “by various methods, including including hanging and drowning.”

Vick harmed dogs.....? No way. You don't have to respect him as a person off the field, but as an athlete he's fun to watch and I'll still cheer him on. Just like O.J. Simpson or Tiger Woods...still a huge fan of their accomplishments...even if they have committed crimes or have other "problems". Yes, what Vick did was extremely wrong...no doubt about it. But if there's anyone who believes he shouldn't be in the NFL (not saying anyone here is saying that) or should of been in jail longer...I'd have to disagree.
