here is Missouri you only get taxed at the tables if it its a jackpot payout, ie 200 to 1 or 500 to 1 etc, so if u have $5 and hit a royal flush on ultimate texas and the blind pays 500 to 1 and u win 2500 ur gonna get taxed, but if you bet 5000 on a bj hand and get bj and get paid 7500, no taxes. here they also start doing paper work if you buy in for 10k or more on a day, id, addy, social security number etc.

slots I think start at 1500 or more

Ok, I think that may be pretty consistent. My dad said the same thing about it is 500 to 1 on a payout, but my friend was claiming he got taxed at the cashier window but the guy makes up a lot of stories. Doesn't make sense to tax at the cashier as you could just be getting your buy-in back. Thanks

maybe if u had to go to the cage to pick up your check or payout for something you hit on a table or slot. not everyone wants a shit ton of chips or crowd around them after hitting a jackpot.

every table has 2 balls,,, some even have 3,,, this year I am up 8,000 playing roulette,,, lol,,, I was playing in Laughlin during the nfl season,,, and in between games I would sit for an hour,,, to pass the time,,, lol, I fell into several big lucky streaks,,, Don Laughlin isnt very happy with me,,, lol,,

every time I came back to the table, they would use a dif ball on every spin,, lol,, this went on for hours,,

the 3rd day,,, I was there, with not a losing session,, lol,, I came in, and bought in for 2thous, the croup looked at me,, it was a monday 8am, (appaerently not too many people buy in for that ammount in laughlin on a monday morning) and they said,,, are you that guy? I was like what? he started laughing,, I was like whats so funny, they are pissed that you havent lost yet and they are offerning a bounty,, lol,,, for real I said? its only 8grand? well,, all the cameras are on you now watching you and your staking, and Im suypposed to switch bballs on you everytime,,, I said, great,,, lets gamble,,, I won 300 more and left,, haha,,,,

I admit, I got lucky,,, I just thought it was halarious, that the guy told me a bounty was offerd,,

I highly doubt there was a bounty, 8k really is not much at all in the grand scheme of things. dealer probably just giving you shit or stroking your ego so you tip better. I have one guy who always ends up whooping my ass in roulette. I can change the wheel speed, how long my spin is, and even the ball im spinning and he still beats my butt. if he tipped a little better, I really wouldn't give two shits, but hes a fairly weak tipper for what hes winning, so I don't really want to see him take me for like 5K in 20 mins.

Got ya, I thought most casinos in Missouri had more than one dealer, my bad.

From my experience Roulette always gathers the hottest chicks, so that has to be a plus.

honestly most nights its pretty hit or miss. id probably say bj gets the hottest casual women bettor or watcher (bf playing etc). we have some very pretty Asian players, mostly high limit bj

not really outside of say roulette. roulette is a game of chance, but can be influenced by the dealer. if i keep sectioning a part of the wheel and people keep loading up on me and i do nothing to stop it (ie change balls, speed of wheel, etc) to make it a game of chance again, then ill get in trouble. but if i do everything in my power and it still just happens to keep landing in same spot, so be it.


poker dealers here keep their own tips, it gets logged for tax purposes, but they dont leave with cash daily like a cocktail waitress does. table games here they pool all the tips for 2 weeks and divide it by total hrs worked. so we might take in like 180k in tips for 2 weeks and have 7500 hrs worked for those 2 weeks, and the toke rate might be $22 an hr whether u worked 6am-2pm when it was slow, 2-10 when its starts to get busy or 10-6 when its normally really busy.

I heard from an experienced dealer that dealers have no chance in hell of being able to get the ball in a certain area nevermind on a specific number. Make sense. I don't know why people think otherwise. The only thing might be the wheel itself favoring a certain area? in which case they'd need to switch the wheel or something?
