Is San Diego the hottest over team in the league right now? Probably. Last ten games 9-0-1 for the OVER. I could see low runs in this game, but if that happens it will likely be 5 or 6 total. Reason for the loss: Have to say I still agree with this bet. If you bet the over in any of the Padres prior 10 games, you would've gone 9-0-1. Exciting times in tennis. Wimbledon is just 3 weeks away. Have some rinky dink tourneys this week (250 TopShelf/Mercedes), followed by Halle (now 500 level) and Aegon. Then the cash vultures playing in the week before Wimbledon.

They'll surely rig the draw for Fed in Halle, but the lineup will have a few players that can knock Fed out (Birdy, Tsonga, Monfils, etc). They'll still rig it favorably so I imagine the other side will be stacked while Fed's side will be light until the semis.


Funny how one day changes everything in the tennis world. Perhaps around 24 months ago Nadal was on an absolute tear and was destroying the circuit (although I felt there was a bit of an asterisk). Then the losses came and he was no longer invincible. Ditto for Djokovic today. He was destroying the competition, was around a -700 fave in a slam final... and now his loss blows up the ATP "perspective".

I must say one thing. When Djok came up the ranks with all his talent it was absolutely abundant that he was mentally weak. Of course, his talent is so incredible that it overshadows almost everything. But what we saw in the beginning of his career is part of the Djok identity. And I believe it's the reason, the "mental" reason, why he's crashed a lot of these end of slam matches. I rate him a better player than Nadal, but he may never equal Nadal's slam count. Even though I feel he should have exceeded it.

Anyways, oddsmakers are smoking crack for Wimbledon. Murray +351? Too generous. Fed +601? Too generous. Nadal +1503? Not in a million years.
