I brought the fuckn play up because he was on the field ? Try and follow along here ! You don't use the guy for more than a dozen plays for the year, and most of those plays he was running down the sideline by himself, but you use him in the 4th qtr of a close playoff game for a 4th down and 5 or so deep in your own territory. So I want to know more about the thinking here ,than a bit, but basically the discussion of this play is what ? censored ?
Not sure what analytics saying about 4th and 7 on ur own 30 when the defense is short a man. I would guess it's still a no. but haven't checked.
I am guessing they might have thought Hamlin was the perfect fake decoy and decided to just go with it---if he got it great narrative, fires up the crowd and team a little more i suppose.
With that said(unless analytics say different) i am punting there.
I don't think giving him the ball is really all that strange. You either fool them and pick up an easy first or they are ready for it and you get stuffed.(Not like handing the ball to Thurman Thomas is going to make a difference here)

Nobody has convinced me yet that Hamlin is dead. I do have doubts that something is off here with Hamlin . that is where the open mind comes in.
