They get Felix Jones the ball in open space and this includes lining him up at WR. If the Eagles secondary is the best in the NFL, why does Scouts Inc. give Dallas the edge for DBs? As well as DL, LB, QB, RB, and most importantly, Coaching

Coaching??? Really?? Coaching????

You can't be serious dude Wade Phillips does not even compare to Reid not even close. Jim Johnson has been one of the most productive d cord. in NFL for a LONG time. Garret is a good play caller but it is not a proven fact he can handle the head coach title.

I didn't say the Cowboys had an edge in coaching. If you read what I wrote, that was from Scouts Inc.'s analysis of the game.

Pretty interesting angle I pulled from MistaFlava's analysis of this game:

The last four times Philadelphia won a game by 14 or more points, they came out flat the next time and went 0-4 ATS in those games.

but were they divisional matchups ??? i doubt it, and they were most likely favored in those 4.
doesn't apply, you can find a stat to support just about anything you wish.

Rivalry game vs. Dallas on MNF no way they come out flat. I don't care about the trend all I know is the Eagles beat Dallas twice last year in Dallas and the Eagles are a better team this year.

How can you tell the Eagles are a better team this year from one game against a horrible opponent?

Scouts Inc. must be Dallas homer like yourself. Wade Phillips is a shit coach and I would take Reid over him any day in the week. Only clear advantage the Cowboys have is at WR and TE, but watch out for DeSean Jackson. You clearly didn't watch the Eagles dominate Dallas last year outside of the game in Philly.

How long before that kid gets banged up, the birds cant use him over and over like last week he is to small.

You're joking right? DNabb lit up a horrible
Philly's defense doesn't have the DBs to match up with Dallas across the board. The only way they have a shot is if they can consistently get pressure on Romo and if they can't then they're done. But the Cowboys will win this one in the trenches because I think they are just more physical than the Eagles and will wear them down.

Hey crackhead.....Asante Samuel, Lito Sheppard and Sheldon Brown are 3 PRO BOWL CB's......What WR's besides TO are a threat and please dont say Patrick Crayton.

eagles and dallas playd twice last year. Dallas won 38-17 in Philly and the game was 38-10 going into the 4th. the game in dallas Romo injured his thumb and dallas just locked up the homefield with a win in Detroit. Dallas lost 10-6. wanted to post the facts

stop your non-sense they went 1-1 last year and the combined total of both scores was Dallas 44-27 with dallas winning 38-17 in philly and philly winning 10-6 in dallas

Dallas has playmakers everywhere. If you think TO is the only threat they have, you my friend are the crackhead.

NFC East rival games are always played tough, no one comes out flat.

I have a feeling Philly comes out quick and puts a TON of pressure on Romo. The Dallas D isn't that great and will give up points. Philly will pressure Romo into mistakes and with their secondary they will be able to contain TO.

And for everyone saying Philly beat a crap team, who did Dallas beat? Cleveland BLOWS and proved it again last night.

Damn, a lot of love for Philly in this thread. I guess I just don't see it. They really aren't a good team in my opinion. McNabb is not the same QB he was 5 years ago and has terrible receivers everywhere you look. Anyone could get open against the Rams, they are the worst team in the league. Dallas has a better QB, much better WR's, a much better OL, and a better defense. The only spot you could really say Philly has the edge in is RB, and Marion Barber is still a top 10 RB.

Dallas is just such a better team IMO, it really isn't even close. I think Dallas wins by something close to 31-16, but we'll see. I don't understand all this love though. Beating up St Louis doesn't impress me a bit.

I too don't understand the love.

Everybody and their mother is on the Eagles here and I couldn't be happier. As soon as the line gets to 6.5, I'm on it.

Cleveland lost by 4 to arguably a top 5 team in the NFL. Last night didn't prove they blow at all. I would agree they are not a good team, but they would still handle the Rams easily. Beating the Browns by three scores ON THE ROAD impresses me a hell of a lot more than beating by far the worst team in the NFL at home by 5 scores.

Both the Browns and Rams played equal teams this week at home (Pitt and NYG are even). Cleveland lost by 4, St Louis lost by 28.
