He has a ton of pressure on him with the news that kim is back from korea with a renewed psyche.

Without a DH I am curious to see how francona does things - either way the team isnt as good as they can be having to bat arroyo.

Also nomar is 2 for 11 since his return and he fouled a pitch of his leg which can't help things on his end.

Also Millar and Kapler have to be worried about their playing time with nixon coming back tomorrow...

True many of my bets are against the yanks and sox but if you go through my thread its not all of them.

Last thursday I bet cleveland and tampa (vs SF and Fla)

and then I took a week off but a week before that I bet the mets and anaheim...

I dont believe Ive bet the phillies this season...

I've only bet like 87 games all year - you have almost 87 wins!

I couldnt imagine betting lots of games in baseball - to me it would be a crapshoot.

Too many teams - to much to keep track of.

I try to stick to what I know. It hasnt always worked but its working this year for the most part!

the only concern i would have with leiter is that the yanks are 19-4 against lefties.

your other 2 have a shot , but it goes against one of your rules as to not play against # 1 starters.

i am looking at anaheim as a possible dog + alt. runline side. atlanta might have a little value as well. balt. in a funk they cant get out of.

montreal might be another one.

Jaypaw-I'm on Prior today. Like the way the Cubbies offense has been playing, and now they get the DH in the line/up. It's actually pretty sick if you check out the line-up, plus they have my boy Walker at 2nd. Not that Belhorn isn't playing well but, I liked Walker. Think their line-up is much better than the WhiteSox. Just my opinion.

Even if only 1 wins by 2 then I'll only lose less than a unit...

As far as not going against a number 1 pitcher - may have said that (not sure when but I do believe you) but if you mean Prior he is a different case IMO - he's only had 4 starts to its still early april for him...

Schmidt has been amazing but I'm thick headed on the concept that 'you "shouldn't" bet on streaks ending - you should bet into them' - and this seems like a spot where my thick head should come in handy... and you kapusta have warned me on this, but I still dont see any problem with it if you pick your spots and keep away from randomly taking teams on winning streaks to lose...
