also his claim that I called relentlessly? truth be told, I went on the 24/7 live help feature at their site (which is very convenient) because I was at work. not more than 30 seconds after I explained my story, their head of accounting called me and proceeded to bash me for 7 min 42 seconds.

How about all of bogus "Live Help" conversations posing as other players? Sounds like attempted internet extortion to me.

Regradless, i think you are all a little suspect. My only point was to inform the forum. I told nine.com operators that I was going public with my story regardless of any sorts of compensation. As for posing as other players, I'm dumbfounded. :monsters-

Don't get it.... don't believe it, do believe it.. it may not matter, but there are probably better books to go through wiht more security.

thank you lsupete. it was merely meant to inform. not to cause problems. i just think its disgusting that even the slightest bit of information about someone else's credit card came to me. like i said, you don't have to believe me. I am simply telling you what I received and what it means to me. Thanks for the back up pete. I know we're all here for one reason, to beat the books. good luck and hope you don't have to deal with this ever.

I don't think anyone would waste their time unless they believed in the issue. Internet extortion give me a break, it was just an attempt to discredit wahoo. I am with LSUPETE and would NEVER use nine.com. One thing I do know is that anytime anyone has an issue with a book, the mods on this site always back the book 100%, that is the only place where the dollars and cents come into play.

Wilheim has the "Live Chat" transcript. I doubt anyone will question his integrity. Let's see what he thinks?

I thing I DO KNOW, is that anytime anyone has any issues with any book that is affiliated with this site, the mods back the book 100%. I for one believe Wahoos and would never use nine.com. Internet extortion, give me a break, I seriously doubt wahoos is a criminal, it is just an attempt to discredit him and his posts. The live chat transcript????? I am sure that cannot be doctored right???:lolBIG:

Man, Man,
You will make Nine.com even worses by defending yourself. By any chance there is a mistake by nine.com then let it be. One thing most people to forget about gamblers are hiding their ID. If you are keeping expose people by trying to defense yourself is not the solution to any problem when there is a mistake by the house..

I am going to say this as clearly as possible.

I just read the transcript of the CSD chat between Gowhaoos and nine.com and there is no doubt in my mind that Gowhaoos clearly tried to extort money from Nine.com because he recieved the email by accident. The chat is long and rambling but leaves no doubt that Gowhaoos wanted to be compensated for what he called "Emotional Trauma" caused by the email. Again there is no doubt the real reason for Gowahoos making such a big deal about what obviously is an isolated incident that involved human error was for financial gain.

Thanks, wil..

So what they sent you this guy's info. What are you going to do with it? They didn't give out the full number of the credit card. I don't see his address anywhere. SO WHAT????

This post is a waste of time.

if in fact this dude said the words "emotional trauma" he is obviously a crook or kook, and his posts should be relegated to the rubber room.

This is hilarious. They send you 8 digits of someone's credit card and you claim emotional distress. Don't get on EOG's mailing list then because the spam you will start getting will drive you to the ledge of a tall tall building.

I want to express how blatant the extortion is by posting just one response from the chat.

Visitor (GoWahoos): "You can give me your apologies all you want. But without monetary compensation for my troubles, I think it is a lost cause.".

I wont post anymore for privacy reasons but you can get the drift of the conversation from this one statement by GoWahoos. There is a lot more very similar to this one statement.

There are two arguments here.
Firstly, they sent me out all this private information
Secondly, whether or not I wanted to be compensenated
regardless of whether or not I wanted to be compensated for what happened, they still sent me this information by mistake. and therefore, I will no longer trust them. The fact that they would send my private conversation about their site to a third party is also a little sketchy. My account information sent to a third party is just another breech.
