You guys claim to love the Constitution, but when the separation of powers comes into play, you criticize the application of the Constitution.

THIS is what the Constitution says:
8 U.S.C. 1182(f):
"Suspension of Entry, or Imposition of Restrictions made by the President of the United States. WHENEVER the President finds, that the entry of ANY ALIEN, or of ANY CLASS of Aliens, into the United States, would DETRIMENTAL to the Interests of the United States, he may, BY PROCLAMATION, an for SUCH PERIOD he shall DEEM NECESSARY, SUSPEND ENTRY of ALL Aliens, or ANY CLASS of Aliens, as Immigrants, or non-Immigrants, or IMPOSE on the entry of Aliens ANY RESTRICTIONS, he may DEEM to be appropriate."
