It’s about HOW the cop, who works for ME, comes to the conclusion that he comes to. That’s what it’s about. Are you legally working within your official capacity? Are you honoring the oath that you pledge to abide by?
On that show they are all nice. Lot of the cops just making up laws and shit they saw so they can further search the car on TV. It’s a whole crock of shit to make the cops look like good guys and the communities they police look like shit.
We need to stop creating narratives that hurt people for your pocketbook. Learn to do something productive and that isn’t a false narrative.
But people need to learn their rights more and more. More cops need to understand the citizens know their rights and then they’re going to have to make a decision....do the right thing and walk away, or let their ego take over.
So when a police officer is called to investigate a person that was caught on tape robbing a store, identifies the subject...then comes in contact with him...begins to question him and is attacked by this subject...The cop is just suppose to walk away?
