[ Of course the actual NFL players know who the greatest player in the game is, unlike some of the haters in here... ]

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- New England Patriots quarterback Tom Bradywas voted the league's top player in the NFL Network's annual top-100 poll, a ranking put together based on a tabulation of 902 players.
It marks the second time that Brady has ranked No. 1, making him the only player to be voted first multiple times since the poll debuted in 2011. He was No. 2 last season, behind Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton.
Brady was last voted No. 1 in 2011. He was fourth in both 2012 and 2013, and then was third in both 2014 and 2015.

Denver Broncos linebacker Von Miller was second, followed by Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones, Pittsburgh Steelers receiver Antonio Brown and Oakland Raiders linebacker Khalil Mack rounding out the top five.
Brady, who will turn 40 on Aug. 3, was named MVP of Super Bowl LI after leading the Patriots back from a 28-3 deficit over the Falcons. In 12 games during the 2016 regular season, Brady went 291-of-432 for 3,554 yards, with 28 touchdowns and two interceptions. In three playoff games, he was 93-of-142 for 1,137 yards, with seven touchdowns and three interceptions.

Sorry but the best is Montana & even Tom would agree with that. For starters he looks up to the guy & would never think he is better. Plus Montana NEVER lost a Super Bowl & that says a lot. Stop holding it against him that free agency was not really a thing back then. He won with the system that was in place which is all that should matter. I will say Brady is in the conversation as one of the best QB's of all time but not THE best.
What he said......... And Montana beating the Niners at KC was the Best Game Ever!

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- In a familiar script that has played out at various NFL stadiums over the last 17 years, Tom Brady magic saved the New England Patriots on Sunday.
Facing another fourth-quarter meltdown at home and looking at a 1-2 start, Brady rescued the Patriots with a magnificent game-winning drive to beat the Houston Texans, 36-33.
The situation: Trailing by five points, the Patriots took over at their own 25-yard line with 2:24 remaining.

The crowd, which had booed the team’s struggles earlier in the fourth quarter, erupted in unison: “Brady! Brady! Brady!”
With the final surge, Brady went over 300 yards passing for the 78th time in his career, which is the third highest total in NFL history. He also finished with five passing touchdowns -- the sixth time in his career he’s hit that mark -- tying Dan Marino for third most of all-time.

</aside>The performance was Brady’s 52nd career game-winning effort to lead his team to a victory from a fourth-quarter deficit or tie.
Up to that point, it looked like the Patriots -- who welcome the Carolina Panthers to town next Sunday -- were in big trouble.
Their inability to gain 1 yard on two third-and-1 plays in the fourth quarter would have been a major storyline, as they were on the verge of being outscored at home in the fourth quarter for the second straight game. The defense also showed its vulnerability at times, with credit going to elusive Texans rookie quarterback Deshaun Watson.

NFL Winners and Losers: Like it or not, Tom Brady is still the greatest

Ad:
The New England Patriots-Pittsburgh Steelers showdown lived up to the great expectations anyone could have had for it, and everyone will remember one of two things from it: Jesse James’ controversial non-catch, and Ben Roethlisberger turning a spike play into an interception.

What shouldn’t be lost is that once again, Tom Brady showed why he’s the greatest quarterback in NFL history and the Patriots showed why they’re champions.
The Patriots probably should have been done long before the wild ending. They led for about only three of the game’s first 59 minutes. They didn’t light up the scoreboard and Brady threw a rare interception deep in his own territory in the third quarter. When the Steelers held New England to a field goal with 3:56 left, that should have been it. The Steelers led 24-19 and hadn’t gone three-and-out the whole game. Then, when the Patriots held the Steelers to a three-and-out when they needed it most, you knew what was coming next.

Too bad Bonds and Clemens didn't have any friends in high places, even though they were never caught with anything!

Oh man, the crying on these boards is hilarious.

Dude should have kept control of the ball. You guys getting mad at #12 are misplacing your anger.

Why no anger for the DB for Pitt would was gift wrapped an INT off a deflected ball that would have iced the game??
You give #12 another shot and he always makes you pay.

Jesse James should not have let the ball hit the ground. Has nothing to do with the refs.
Get mad at the rules....YES....not the messenger.

Funny nobody remembers when the Vikings and Panthers knowingly altered game balls prior to this “scandal “ and all they received were warnings.

Heating the balls during a single freezing cold game that both teams use, is vastly different than deflating balls that only your offense uses for 7 seasons!
