Pepperdine +1.5

I love this game, I make Pepperdine 5, scares me how easy this looks, Terrance Johnson should go for 40 vs Irvine guards, only way Irvine stays close is if Zuzak gets very hot, other wise double digit win for Pepperdine easy.

Railbird, I have gone back through this thread to the beginning of the year and it is time to commend you for an OUTSTANDING job. I appreciate your posting (especially posting early enough to allow me to shop lines). It doesn't take very long to realize that you are one of true cappers and anyone that doesn't respect your ability will be paying instead of collecting. Look forward to all of your posts.

Thanks again and Happy Holidays.

as for last friday's stardust line show - nice of JK to give ya props and mention your name on the radio - and sitting in the front row, too!

Refs handed Irvine the game, last time I play on a stupid team, Westphal should have sat Davis, 5'9 pt guard who was 1 for 15 take the last shot over a 7 footer. If Westphal traps the whole game instead of last 6 min they win by 15, Im getting real tired of these BigWest refs. Pepperdine was the right side, most Irvine could ever beat this team by is 2 points, while Pepperdine should beat this team by 15, home cooking city

You said it Railbird, its amazing how some teams really protect their home court like they protect their virgin sister. To bad, Va Comm couldn't get it done, them bastards cost me big.

Rail, what are your thoughts on UVA-LMU and Utah-CS Northridge. I have some opinions on these I will post tomorrow.

Tough one Railbird.

The dreaded dog in overtime.

I was just watching the scores and we were in it the whole way. Tough loss.

actually - those whobet pepperidge farm were lucky to be that close. look at the recap and all - and irvine should have won by a lot more.

rail - you say the waves are one of the dumbest teams out there. well - i already said that in another post - and you should know the waves do dumbt hings at dumb times - so what they did at the end of the game never should have shocked you.

Hmm...not doubting you Winky, but my review of the recap tells me that Irvine was the one lucky to be in the game -- Irvine was outrebounded and had 12 more TO than Pepp but was the benefactor of 19 more trips to the line and 58% FG shooting (60% on 3-balls)...maybe Irvine could have shot better from the line, but you can never count on 58% FG shooting.....Regardless of the outcome, I am not sure eihter side was a great bet.

Pepperdine made atleast 5 clean steals that were called fouls, Pepperdine was getting mugged and nothing, on the other end every tick tack foul was called.
