This past weekend was a wining one as I went 7-1 on my posted plays and added a few extra dollars on un-posted plays ta I made while sitting at the South Point Casino sports book.
My season overall record is not bad, however I got crushed the other week on my biggest plays of the year on Florida-20.5 over Vandy............ that lost still stings as Florida had 4 turn overs and two of them was when the were inside the 8 yard line ready to score. Why it that some losses stick with you longer than others? I guess that's gambling.

Tonight I am on the Toledo Rockets big time. I am extremely happy to be catching +7.5 (at 5 dimes). Toledo has a good defense albeit they have given up 35, 32 and 23 points in the last 3 weeks. This works in my favor to aid in my getting + 7.5 points because of Toledo’s defensive slide late in this season..

I use to live in Perrysburg, Ohio which is about 5 miles from BGSU’s campus and I have followed this rivalry. These schools are separated by about 15 miles on a straight line and by about 23 miles driving through the town of Maumee. It’s an intense rivalry and the Rockets will be ready tonight with their old school pound and ground running attack and the defense will be revived like they were earlier in the year against Sec’s Arkansas and the Big 12’s Iowa state type defensive efforts.
Many people are all enamored with BGSU’s QB Matt Johnson and the wide outs and the passing attack. I believe and see Toledo hanging tuff and playing a good enough game to get the cover and possible the outright win.

Last night was very successful as my big plays on the Toledo Rockets came in on the money line also.

Tonight I am on Northern Illinois -2.5 over Western Michigan for 3 units.
This game opened at some off shore places at Northern Ill -3.5 And I got it at Northern -2.5.
Last week WMU struggled to convert 3[SUP]rd[/SUP] downs against Bowling Green, converting only 4 of 13 chances. I feel that this pattern will continue tonight against Northern Illinois.
Northern Illinois has the experience in big games and a strong secondary to handled the passing attack of western Mich. I think that the strong schedule that Western Mich has played this year has finally worn them down and it will show tonight in the second half.

Last night was very successful as my big play on Northern Illinois came in, NIU's freshman QB played well enough in a windy game and the defense made enough stops especially ,late in the game with the goal line stance.

So far I see a nice spot on Missouri +8.5 on Saturday over Tennessee at home. Tennessee stands at 6-4 and has played really tuff and hung right in there and easily could have beaten Oklahoma at home the second game of the year and should have beaten Florida (away) and should have beaten a good Arkansas team at home and gave Alabama a very good fight losing 19-14.

Tennessee with a little luck could easily be standing at 9-1 or with a lot luck could be 10-0. At first glance and on the surface it seems a no brainer and Tennessee should cover the 8.5 easily but with all that has gone on with Missouri the last 12 days or so and them standing at 5-5 and a chance to become bowl eligible with a win will have them putting forth maximum effort in this game.

Missouri has beaten Tennessee 29-21, 31-3 and 51-48 (in OT) in the last 3 seasons. In Tennessee's SEC games they have lost to Florida by 1 point 28-27 , lost to Arkansas by 4 points 24-20, beaten Georgia by 7 points 38-31 , lost to Alabama by 5points 19-14, beaten south Carolina by 53 points 27-24 , and beaten Kentucky by 31 points. So 5 of their 6 SEC games have been decided by 7 points or less.

It is Missouri' coach Gary Pinkel's final home game so the crowd ad player will be excited & hyped to show their loyalty an support for what Coach Pinkel has done for the University's football program over the last 15 years.

I feel that the teams lack of offensive production will be over come and made up for with energy and enthusiasm. This game will be decided not as much by X's and O's but by fighting spirit and grit and I see Missouri getting the cover and maybe the outright win.

I lost a few units this past weekend and lost my big play on Missouri as their offense performed like they have all year and could not score. The defense played admirably giving up only 19 points (about what I had capped and estimated) and their emotions & energy never translated into offensive production (I felt that Missouri could score 12 to 15 points some way some how) . I don't feel bad as I like betting good defensive teams at home catching points.

My year is going alright but would be much better if I would be doing better with my large plays. Anyway I am enjoying the games and I'll keep plugging away.

The regular season is coming to a close and it's been an enjoyable season with all of its ups and downs. Hopefully I will have a good and profitable ending. I have been capping some of the games which impact reaching bowl eligibility. These teams will be playing with intensity and purpose. This does not mean that they will win but I know that they will be engaged and playing hard and the coaching staffs focused and truly involved in keeping the players on point.

all plays are for 3 units.....after being up and down I want to end the year hopefully with a good bankroll for college hoops or I'll just be an observor. (lol)
