Getting the weekend started early.

Kentucky - ML +110 @ 5dimes................ 3 units

The Wildcats escaped a close call last week against Eastern Ky. because they were looking ahead to the big game tonight on national TV. Auburn will find it tough tonight.

Week#8 ....Results. I had a very good day on Sat. going 5-1. I think taking that mid season 1 week break has helped me refocus. I feel that need to readjust some of the units that I am wagering on certain games and matchups which will increase my units. Hopefully I can keep it rolling.

Saturday Plays and results.
Nevada-7.5 (winner)
Tenn+15.5 (winner)
Western Kentucky+16.5 (loss)
Army +9.5 (winner)
Houston-20.5 (winner)
Arkansas-5.5 (winner in 4OT's)

TCU -14 .............for 3 units
Pittsburgh +3 ....... for 1 unit

I really like TCU -14 tonight on national TV over West Virginia. I have never been a big Dana Holgorsen fan and ever since he took over as the WVU head coach in 2011 he’s teams have flamed out once they enter Big 12 conference play. 2012’s team 7-6 and lost in the pinstripe Bowl. The 2013 team was 4-8 and last year’s 2014 team was 7-6 and lost the Liberty bowl. He has been taking a lot of heat lately and deservedly so in my opinion.

WVU’s defense was somewhat heralded after the first 3 games of the season but since entering in Big twelve play they have given up 30 points against Oklahoma State , 44 points against OU and 62 against Baylor. I feel and think that TCU’s offense is better than OU’s and Oklahoma States. TCU have scored 70 at home against SF Austin, 56 against SMU and 55 against Texas Tech so I know they score well at home. None of these teams have great defenses however I feel that TCU can and will light up the score board against this WVU defense.
After last year and coming up short in the polls and playoff’s, I see Gary Patterson doing his best to impress and he will not call off the dogs and he’ll score as much as possible.

My next play is taking the home dog. Pittsburgh +3 They have hung tough this year and if not for Iowa’s kicking a 57 yard field goal as time expired in Iowa Pittsburgh could have been undefeated going into tonight’s game. They went into Ga. Tech and won 31-28 and we saw what happened last week as Georgia Tech lucked out against a good but not great Florida State team, so this shows and tells me that Pittsburgh is a decent team and playing against a similar caliber team in North Carolina I feel that some way, somehow will and can squeak out a win.

Sincityman6 I am sitting at the South Point sports book right now at 4:15 pm Thursday and the line is TCU -12 total 73 and ML TCU -525. I Don't like to see movement like this but I still like TCU. I truly felt earlier in the week that the line would move to 14.5 by kickoff and it swung in the opposite direction. GLTU

Last weekend was brutal for me, hopefully I can get back to the winning ways.

Tonight I like K-State +17.5 to get the cover over Baylor. I can't remember when K-State was ever a double digit dog at home and I feel after they shellacking they took last week that Coach Synder will have them primed to play much better tonight on a big Thursday night game and playing against the Baylor Freshman QB ....................I'll gladly take the points.

Kansas State +17.5 3 units
Buffalo -2.5 1 unit

Last night K-State hung tough and I picked up the win.

Florida 20.5 vs Vanderbilt

This will be my biggest bet so far this season. I really love this game and this spot. Looking at Vanderbilt which has 3 wins . One over lowly (located about 55 mile NW of Vandy’s campus Austin Peay 47-7 no even an FBS team and wins over MTSU 17-13 a bitter little step brother rival whose campus are separated by about 20 miles and a win over Offensively challenged Sec foe Missouri. So I am not even talking about Vanderbilt anyway winning this game straight up.

Throughout the Austin Peay game and Vandy has scored only 79 points total in FBS games. They score a season high of 16 points at Mississippi the 4[SUP]th[/SUP] game of the year and average only 11.2 points per game. Vandy was shut out at Houston last week 34-0 and last scored a touchdown Against Missouri two weeks ago.
Florida comes in fresh off a 27-3 win over Georgia and hung relatively tuff at LSU losing 35-28 to weeks back. The defense is playing really well and I do not see Coach McElwain letting his 10[SUP]th[/SUP] ranked team having a letdown in this spot with South Carolina on deck next week plus Florida lost two years back at home to Vandy. I see a 31 -0 or a 38-10 type score.
Florida is realistically looking at entering their last game of the season against arch rival FSU at 10-1 and a possible shot at a final four if they can get to the SEC championship game and win............which means they will be playing with purpose against Vandy.

Florida -20.5 over Vanderbilt 5 units

I'll add my other plays later

YTD 27-25-1 -8.2 units

Last week was a rough week for me. Florida had 4 turnovers and 2 of them were when they were inside the 10 yard line and another was very critical causing points.
That's the way it goes at times.

To days card all for 1 unit unless noted.

UNLV +7.5
Alabama -8
Wash St. +10.5 3 units
Texas tech -5.5
Southern Miss -7.5 2 units
Ohio State/ Illinois under 55
Iowa State +14
Georgia / Auburn under 52.5
