Maybe I respect your analysis but I do believe there is a correlation btwn defenses using cover 2 much more often and the decrease in passing yards

It's kind of funny re-watching bit of Falcons/Bengals


The Falcons gave up that long TD while playing cover on the fourth play of the game when Burrow hit Boyd over the middle

Atlanta completely abandoned cover 2 right away after that. Burrow goes on to have one of the best statistical QB halves in NFL history .

Yeah he is pretty much as good as it gets.

Just unique talent with his combo speed, hands, and ability to break through contact. Just incredible
