Bad news for Houston— Starting P Luis Garcia (elbow) left after 8 pitches, second night in a row the Astros’ starting pitcher left with an injury.
— Michigan State QB Payton Thorne, WR Keon Coleman entered the transfer portal; Spartans went 11-2 in 2021 with Thorne at QB, but slipped to 5-7 last year. Coleman was the team’s leader in receptions (58), receiving yards (798) and TD catches (7) last year.
