CNN's analyst LZ Granderson has defended President Obama's outright lies about Obamacare with some of the most insidious, cynical logic seen in recent years. According to Granderson, the American people have rationalized the health insurance lies fed to them by Obama in this way: "We can deal with the lies that President Obama tells us because we believe in his heart, he has the best interest for the American people."

To his credit, Granderson doesn't try to insult the CNN audience, or host Rosa Flores, by pretending Obama didn't lie. Jay Carney, President Obama and most of the cable news minions who do their bidding continue to try to deceive the American people by saying the President just wasn't thorough enough when telling the American people they could keep their health insurance, even though he knew very well they could not.
No, Granderson admits the President lied, but, according to this Obama sycophant, these lies are just fine by him and the American people:
He should have been more forthright with how the Affordable Care Act was going to impact the country. But with that being said, all Americans know politicians lie. The question is, which lies can you live with? And, time and time again, Americans have said, 'We can deal with the lies that President Obama tells us because we believe in his heart, he has the best interest for the American people.' Every president is going to lie to you. Every politician is going to lie to you. The question is, which lies can you live with?

[h=2]My colleague Ben Shapiro has already filled readers in on the continuing dominance of Fox News, which continued throughout 2013 and (thanks in large part to juggernaut Megyn Kelly) shows no signs of slowing down. The other news coming out of the yearly ratings, though, is that the slow death of CNN marches on. At the beginning of the year, and with much fanfare, Jeff Zucker was brought on to right CNN's ship. The first-year result is a 15% drop in primetime ratings that were already dismal and a negligible increase of less than 1% in total day viewership.[/h] Granted, MSNBC is only doing a little better and all three cable nets saw drops in viewership over last year -- a presidential election year -- but when you are already in the ratings cellar and have already been retooling for six months, sinking even further has to be seen as catastrophic.
Little Zucker has done, though, deserves success. Overall, the left-wing network has gone from just being biased to now being biased and dumb. If you are interested in serious news, daytime CNN has become wholly unnecessary (big news this week: anti-bacterial soap, local murders, Carnival cruise lines, and we're now into day six of Santa's skin color -- but NOTHING on ObamaCare). Jake Tapper offers an hour-long island of respite of competence at 4pm, but then it's all shattered by Wolf Blitzer's left-wing outside voice, which ran out its welcome sometime in the mid-nineties.
As far as CNN's primetime, the ratings collapse speaks for itself but goes well beyond that. Piers Morgan isn't just ratings poison, his trash TV, Morton Downey Juniorism has made the anti-gun extremist the symbol of CNN's ratings failure, political bias, and move towards shrill carnival barking.
As Shapiro notes, Zucker's plan is to now move CNN away from its brand -- news, which is great for those of us tired of CNN's leftism disguised as objectivity -- but if Zucker's recent past is prologue, I'll be writing this same article on this same day next year.

[h=2]The collapse of CNN continued through 2013 with the former-Most Trusted Name In News hitting a 20-year ratings low during the 8-11pm primetime hours. The news wasn't much better for MSNBC. The left-wing network actually lost in total day viewership to CNN. Fox News continued to dominate throughout the year, beating both CNN and MSNBC combined.[/h] Throughout last year, Fox News averaged 1.761 million primetime viewers and 1.097 million total day viewers. MSNBC averaged 640,000 primetime viewers and 394,000 total day viewers. CNN averaged 568,000 and 413,000, respectively.
Out of the hundred or so cable channels measure by Nielsen it wasn't even close. Fox ranked 6th in primetime and 4th in total day. MSNBC placed 29th in primetime and 30th in total day. CNN placed 32nd and 28th, respectively.
In the advertiser-coveted 25-54 demo, the race was closer during primetime, but CNN still came in last. Fox News was on top with 294,000 viewers. MSNBC and CNN earned 203,000 and 181,000 respectively.
In the 25-54 total day rankings, Fox dominated with 222,000 viewers. CNN and MSNBC tied at 131,000.
Without any blood-letting, Fox News has already shuffled its already-successful primetime line-up by promoting rising cable news superstar Megyn Kelly to the 9pm hour. This move, done late last year, boosted the network's ratings. That combined with the upcoming election year must make Fox News feel pretty comfortable with where they are at for 2014.
As far as CNN, the verdict is still out on Jeff Zucker, who has only been the network president for a year. But there is no question it was a very rough year. Zucker has suggested that CNN primetime will turn into something that moves away from news and towards Discovery Channel type programming. Being a news channel certainly isn't working, so why not?
MSNBC has no announced plans. There are rumors of personnel changes, but nothing approaching a shake-up. One leftist anchor capable of hosting an hour of smug, mean-spirited confirmation bias moves out, another moves in. On top of its ratings, though, MSNBC had a very bad 4th quarter. Two MSNBC anchors, Martin Bashir and Alec Baldwin, were lost to bad behavior and the year closed with anchor Melissa Harris-Perry having to apologize for mocking a black infant.
The upcoming mid-term elections should help MSNBC, but right now the "Lean Forward" feels like it is just spinning its wheels as a visual form of left-wing talk radio.

[h=2]Ratings: CNN Loses Viewers Despite Missing Plane Coverage[/h] Third-place CNN's Q1 ratings might have been even more catastrophic were it not for a late surge due to the left-wing cable network's decision to go 24/7 with the missing Malaysian airliner. Even with that late surge, though, CNN still had a disastrous first quarter of 2014, the third worst in its history. MSNBC also lost viewers, while Fox News gained.

[h=1]Ratings: Fox #1 for 13th Year, MSNBC Collapses By Double Digits[/h] 240480

Ratings for January 2015 show that for the 13th year in a row Fox News beat its left-wing competition at CNN and MSNBC. Fox is the leader in all areas: total viewers and demo viewers. MSNBC had a terrible January, losing -23% of total viewers and -39% of demo viewers in primetime compared to January of last year. CNN boosted its viewership by double digits but had nowhere to go but up.
CNN’s turn to the political left is obviously draining viewers away from MSNBC. CNN has beat MSNBC for seven consecutive months now.
Despite being blacked out from millions of potential viewers due to a (now resolved) dispute with Dish Network for three weeks in this ratings period of January, Fox News is still king.
Fox News:
Primetime (Mon-Sun): 1,475,000 total viewers / 272,000 A25-54
Total Day Mon-Sun): 972,000 total viewers / 191,000 A25-54
CNN:
Primetime (Mon-Sun): 606K Total Viewers / 228K A25-54
Total Day (Mon-Sun): 517K Total Viewers / 168K A25-54
MSNBC:
Primetime (Mon-Sun): 518,000 total viewers / 141,000 A25-54
Total Day (Mon-Sun): 323,000 total viewers / 93,000 A25-54

Vitterd actually worked for the DNC, and is proud of it. That alone says everything.

bWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAAH

Probably the only truthful comment he's ever posted.

"I won millions playing poker!" :pointer:

"Black people should resist arrest, it's the only way they survive. You're a Canadian birther and have no idea what goes on in black ghettos...I DO!" :pointer:

"The Second Amendment means muskets only" :pointer:

Less than a week and Libtard Nation is back!

That will be good for us. I don’t know about you but I get bored mocking the same people over and over.

Fresh carrion (or should I say recycled carrion) is what is needed.

[h=1]Some Comeback: CNN Still Has Fewer Primetime Viewers Than Collapsing MSNBC[/h] 62

The 25-54 news demo is king in cable news. That is the metric everyone looks at because that is where the money is. For whatever reason, advertisers believe that people in that particular age group are more easily duped into buying their junk, so those aged 25-54 are the gold standard in the news business. By that measurement, MSNBC is collapsing. Nevertheless, when it comes to total viewers, during the all-important primetime hours, MSNBC is still beating CNN in total viewers.
Below are the numbers from all of last week. The first number is average total primetime viewers, the second is the 25-54 demo. As you can see, all the talk around CNN’s resurgence is more than a little overhyped. (In total total day viewers, CNN usually edges MSNBC, but not by much).
Monday
FOXN: 2,161 – 388
CNN: 467 – 191
MSNBC: 596 – 114

Tuesday
FOXN: 2,335 – 447
CNN: 458 – 120
MSNBC: 651 – 108

Wednesday
FOXN: 2,467 – 434
CNN: 388 – 156
MSNBC: 661 – 81

Thursday
FOXN: 2,379 – 508
CNN: 364 – 132
MSNBC: 502 – 100

Friday
FOXN: 2,040 – 388
CNN: 392 – 106 175
MSNBC: 476 – 95
Advertisers might not care about total viewers, but cable providers sure do, as should any cable news network eager to have any kind of impact. The more eyeballs, the more voters you take your message to. MSNBC and CNN are both left-wing propaganda networks. MSNBC and CNN are both losing handily to Fox News in both total and demo viewers. But the naked truth is that during their primetime hours, fewer voters are tuning into CNN than they are MSNBC.
CNN’s race-baiting, airplane-missing, whale-saving, anti-Republican, anti-Israel narrative rampages might be making advertisers happier, but during the most important time of day, those narratives are not drawing more viewers than another left-wing network that is currently sinking like a cement block.
Some comeback.

CNN is collapsing. After a bit of a resurgence under chief Jeff Zucker, the left-wing cable news network’s ratings are falling back to earth. After a year of trumpeting ratings wins over third-place MSNBC (while still getting beat like a drum by Fox News), there are fewerand fewer of those wins, and not because MSNBC is doing all that much better. Somehow, during a rather extraordinary presidential race, the ratings are going backwards, and just 90 seconds of CNN’s coverage of last night’s terror attacks can help to explain why.
My guess is that millions upon millions of Americans who, like me, once counted on CNN to cover breaking news events have, in one form or another, experienced what I did last night; not as an employee of Breitbart News, whose job it is to monitor such things, but as an everyday American concerned with the world and looking for information when it explodes.
For a few hours last night, I unplugged. It had been a long week. After the news cycle slowed down my brain needed a vacation and my arm needed to wrap itself around my pretty wife. So I turned off the computer, put away the phone, took my puppies out for some serious ball-throwing, picked up some unhealthy take-out food, popped in Michael Mann’s “Collateral,” and blissed out. And it was bliss, until I checked back in to the world around 7 p.m. Eastern.
There is no need for me to describe to you what I saw.
Desperate for information, I started flipping through the various news channels and made the mistake of landing on CNN.
For more than a year this despicable news network has become a 24/7 Social Justice Warrior (SJW) network: attacking cops, mocking traditional Christians, fomenting riots in black neighborhoods, lionizing hate groups like Black Lives Matter, marginalizing political conservatives and their ideas; and not even for five minutes last night, not even during the worst violence in Paris since World War II, could CNN give it a rest.
I don’t know who it was, probably just another idiotic CNN talking head in that vast ocean of idiotic CNN talking heads; maybe it was more than one. When I’m that angry all I see is black, so it is hard for me to tell. And everything went black the moment the idiotic CNN talking head used the Paris bloodbath to push for American gun control, and then hand-wring over fears of a unicorn known as the “anti-Muslim backlash.”
Oh, the CNN Talking Head was subtle. That’s what made it even more infuriating — the cunning sneakiness. Twice in the space of just a few minutes he lamented how easy to would be for terrorists to get guns in America. Then, with hundreds of people dead and wounded throughout a half-dozen “safe spaces” in Paris, in so many words, he said that Europe needed to be on the lookout for the inevitable anti-Muslim backlash.
Good God.
Naturally, the CNN anchor (I think it was Erin Burnett) did not push back or even challenge or condemn the indecency of this SJW propagandizing. And naturally, there was no other talking head to offer a factual counterpoint — to point out that Paris is a gun-controlled city, and that maybe the death toll would have been smaller had its citizens not been disarmed by the State — especially as the terrorists reportedly stopped more than once to reload between mass-executions.
Yes, I should have grabbed the video, or documented the names, but I was too enraged to think straight. I was caught off guard, not in Breitbart-Gear, but in Dear-God-What’s-Happening-Gear.
So I just did what millions upon millions have been doing to CNN over the years: In utter disgust, I turned the channel.
Unfortunately for the left-wing Social Justice Warriors at CNN, I am now in Breitbart-Gear and sharing my story with millions of our readers, and urging them to share it with others on their social media networks.
Had enough?
If CNN is on your bundled cable package, whether or not you watch, they are getting a piece of your cable bill. You are funding CNN. Not watching CNN is not enough to kill CNN. The bundled cable racket is what keeps the 24/7 SJW alive.
You have to cut the cord to kill CNN.
For the sake of all that is decent, please cut the cord.
And the money you save on your bloated cable bill? Use it to buy firearms and any instruction you might need to learn how to safely use them.
