you are right about spin Dante, and it takes 2-3 days for it to have its effects complete but to spin your way out of a margin like that is a very very tall task. the republicans couldnt spin their way out of the second debate and the initial poll showed it as close. . . the spin effect really only worked for the republicans in the last election when it caught the democrats off gaurd. kerry has won the debates and held on after shady spin attempts and thats the way it should be.

you dont see carolina trying to spin the superbowl score after they lost to the patriots do you?!

Th latest CNN poll asked 1000 probable voters what they thought Bush had done best in his life time.

Results
A.Own the Texas Rangers 75%
B.Running the US as Pres. 25%

Simply shocking. But I did hear that most major league ball players will vote for him.
Something about the 200K :toothless

As a result of the latest poll--MLB owners are voting to raise ticket prices by $5.00 for each seat.

Cable prices will alo be increasing to pay for the privelidge of watching at home. Ain't gonna be cheap no more folks. They will get their money back.

It is unclear at this time what else will be going up in price as a result of the upcoming election ---but I heard---Help is on the way!

This is beyond comical now. I'm surprised Shrink and Fish are so misinformed. The patriot act has really clouded your judgement.

Bush wins by 7% and 70 electorial college votes, the media will look like fools November 2nd.

Agree Bush is a disaster, problem is no one is falling in love with John Kerry. Even his arrogant wife has first husband Heinz's picture more prominently displayed in her posh estate than her present husband's. Don't get me wrong, I am no Bush fan, I just think the democrats have put up two real stinkers the last two elections. If Gore had simply carried his home state of Tennesse, the people who supposedly know him best, (and if they don't, isn't that a sad statement) he wouldn't have needed Florida to win the election. Personally, I'm voting for Nadar. (I realize he has no chance to win, it's just that he has more integrity than those two ying yangs put together.)

In 19 days we will all know.....hope its not as long a night as 2000.

I swear I just don't know...I liked John Edwards on the George Stephanopoulos show last Sunday...Chaney declined to appear at the same time. I don't won't to get to voting computer undecided. I guess in a way I'm leaning towards Kerry a bit, I won't to see how the bounce goes after the debate and how much the mud- slinging goes on either side.

Fish I would just have to lay $300 on Kerry to keep me up that night...that would be the $300 tax rebate I got in 2001 from Bush: that would be ironic as hell if Kerry covers.

I like those Florida and Iowa bets at Tradesports, too....Fl to Bush and Iowa to Kerry.

Bush's team is busy at work trying to figure out the best way to scare the people into voting for him. Best point made after the debate was showing Scowcroft, a Bush advisor who served with HW, saying almost exactly what Kerry was quoted as saying in the New York Times. Scowcroft said his piece less than a year after 9/11 when people had fresher fears of terrorism. Kerry is "dangerous" for saying what a Bush advisor said publicly two years ago?

For all you potential Nader Voters, let me state very clearly:

A VOTE FOR NADER IS A VOTE FOR BUSH. One more time, A VOTE FOR NADER IS A VOTE FOR BUSH. This disaster in Iraq should be on every Nader voter's conscience just like it should be on Bush voters.

BAF,
Who the hell was President 8 years while they were not only planning
9/11 but they even tried to blow up the WTC using a truck bomb? Shrink and Fishhead, I respect you guys and Fish I would love to get some serious lessons in Video Poker, but on politics we are polar opposites. Ask yourself this, if the majority of guys who served in Vietnam (combat) with Kerry don't trust him why should the American people? You spout off all these points: Tax cut for the rich...blah blah blah... how many of us here cashed our tax refund checks, ones that no way in hell we would have gotten from any democrat. If you cut taxes across the board they hell yes, even the rich get one, but have you ever thought that a rich guy may start a new business and hire some more regular people. Anyway, why is this out of the political forum anyway. I still think W will win but it will be close in some states and that could tip the electoral college toward Kerry. But if you guys are going by these internet polls... :biglaugh: put down the bong or cut back on the :drink: And what's up with the "murderer" label?

A vote for Nader is a non-Kerry vote too.
