I know the media is completely disingenuous, but I do have to question why the CDC is allowed to get away with this. Exactly what is the current administration doing to put the hammer down on them?
the CDC was told to separate the results (antibody positives vs active viral positives) numerous times and they agreed to comply on June 9. They've had a month to make this simple change and have refused which has fueled the MSM's "largest daily spike" and "record setting day" narrative. Clearly with daily deaths now in the 200's (90%+ less than the daily highs) the majority of these new positives aren't active infections.

Trump know this but hasn't even attempted to explain this to Americans...instead he's letting the media write the narrative which is directly leading to states like PA, TX, FL shutting down portions of their economy based on people who tested positive for getting a cold this year. Cable news is setting all-time ratings records so don't expect them to explain the CDC's data presentation errors.

It's been out there since May 20 yet Trump and his crew, including Fauci, haven't explained the "spike" is not in active infections. At this point you have to assume Trump is complicit in this deception. Keep people scared and they will comply

and turns out she never worked for Deloitte....she had a 2-week internship set for later this summer rescinded by the company. She then started a gofundme under the auspices of getting fired from her gig and got 10k...but she's now being investigated for charity fraud since she never had a job to get fired from.

That's not the point being made here.

The Covid-trolls in here are saying we should be TERRIFIED because of the numbers/statistics being touted in the media,
when it turns out, they've been inflating the numbers all along.

I find it interesting that you didn't provide a single quote of anyone saying that.

We should open the USA completely to under 60 or 65 with no underlying: get back to work and, also, have some fun!

Do so without masks & social distancing, frequent hand washing, etc, & watch the hospitals get overwhelmed.

Or you could relocate to Sweden. Though even there they are using non flu precautions.

Or just do whatever the hell you want. Who's stopping you from partying?

All of those things are some version of Russian Roulette. Some are much more dangerous to certain demographics than COVID-19 is.

Russian Roulette is a horrible analogy, a 1 in 6 chance of dying

By Russian Roulette he obviously did not mean the kind which is a "1 in 6 chance of dying", but this type of definition:

2": something resembling Russian roulette in its potential for disaster
taking cocaine is playing Russian roulette
— Jonathan Nicholas"

Around 40k to 60,000 people die, per year from the flu and PN. That number is WITH a vaccine. Some years that vaccine is effective and some years less so. As you know, there are plenty of mouthbreathers who refuse vaccine. The bottom line is this is the flu waiting for a vaccine fella. In March, healthcare professionals identified that 80% of European deaths occurred in people over 70 with three or more underlying conditions. The flu kills those people too, but we chose to panic and shutdown rather than focusing efforts on the most vulnerable.

Because little was known about C-19 early on & to avoid hospitals being overwhelmed, which is still an issue, and many more deaths that would have occurred.

you're just twisting words. if you say russian roulette you pretty much are saying 1 in 6 or in that neighborhood. to say such a thing is an exaggeration that is laughable.

there are no hospitals being overwhelmed. the only panic was in new york city where a nurse blew the cover off phony elmhurst corona cases. if you want the link to her video let me know.

Nonsense. If you understand language you know that words have different meanings & the context will often help you understand which connotation applies in any given situation. I gave you the correct definition in the context referred to.

Webster gives more than one definition for "Russian Roulette". If you read the post by Willie99 he used "Russian Roulette" twice, using two different definitions of the word as given by Webster's Dictionary that i posted. Once he referred to "Russian Roulette" as driving a car.

There were no hospitals overwhelmed? There were in Italy. Doctors had to choose between who lives & who dies, young or old. Of course hospitals cancelled surgeries & made extra space available elsewhere, & a shutdown occurred. Otherwise many hospitals would have been overwhelmed, with many non C-19 deaths occurring due to hospitals being unable to handle emergency situations. And the danger still exists of that happening.
