thank you pops for the info. Do you ever get burned at Cris with steam plays. I've read about them on sports insights burnin some folks on steam plays. Also have you tried this with the NBA? Any success?

no, and i dont bet the nba. did when i was in vegas with "the rick" as i'd give him mlb and he gave me nba, but he started to drop around 70% and i told him bye bye a year or so back

The Nba does seem to give people fits. Do you ever play the FU Fades where the move is for the team against the public. Like when the spread moves a half point for the favorite like -5.5 to -6 with the public on the favorite . And Always bet the dog. Seems like it gives a pretty good percent on the spreadsheet. Like today for the MSU/OSU game. Spread was -1.5 moved -2 with the Public on Ohio State. Seems like it would win a decent number. Although I remember Missouri and Long Beach State both covered in those similar movements.

with the show and nit a couple of diff in the spreadsheet of note

nit will be based on the Home Team (HOLM) so it's the home OL

show will be based on the FOLM (fav opening Line move)

also i'm going to put in an early move number as well as a closing line number

just remember that the minus is for a fav (diff than i normally do all of my spreadsheets) so if you see a minus number for an opening line than a plus number for an early line move and than a plus number for a closing line it's because a team opened as a fav than moved to dog. show have the worksheet done in a few

just remember this is what i did as a quick and dirty spreadsheet to show as an example of how easy it was to put some simple numbers together than does not take much time so that bettors could have a simple way of doing some LM analysis. If i have time i upload one of my real capping data based that will blow your fucken mind

Is there an easy way to query the information into your database? I've been looking for something like this. I don't imagine you entering stats in manually.

did you d/l my mlb data base?

all of that data goes into the spreadsheet with vba macro's same goes for all of my spreadsheets as well. the simple line move ones were fat finger jobers as they only take about 5 min to set up and a couple of min a day on the fly

i dont fuck with the mid term moves. OL. any early LM and that closing line about 10 min b4 kick off. but that one was one of the multiple teams getting in the big show game for MO money for the conf. NC was there regardless so could care less wtf happened, as was kenty and ohio st

I agree on all points expect for OSU. Both OSU and MSU were in the same exact boat. Winner gets a 1 and loser gets a 2. That game was different.

No I did not. I can set up my own macros, but was just curious where you queried your data from. If it's public, I would like to know so that I can try to build my own. Thanks in advance.

sport options has a decent data base for old which is easy to mine as it's data coded. other sites like db dont have dates so you can only pull the current the weather site i use for mlb can be mined as well.
