The complete season you were #2......
When someone claims you lost money during the first half, you don't acknowledge that, but instead post your second half and season record.
Did players who followed and paid for your plays the first half of the season lose money +cost of paying you for picks? (simple yes or no question)
Actually, the complete regular season I was No. 1 in Money and No. 1 in Over/Unders. Even after my poor postseason record, I was STILL No. 1 in Over/Unders but let's be honest: Postseason record-tracking should NOT continue along with an entire regular season of work, and you should know that. Vegas Insider chose to continue as if it were the regular season still, and I voiced my disagreement with that, but they're a business and they feel that's the best way to make sales. Even so, everyone knows regular season records and playoff records are
completely different, and for the entire regular season, I was No. 1 in money. At the same time, though, I guess you could say I was dead-last in playoffs lol, but that's playoffs, where there are infinitely more variables to deal with that make it much more difficult. But again, it's completely different, and therefore separate.
And when did I ever deny being down in the first half????????? Lol c'monnnnn, man, I never ignored that or not acknowledged that. I had a poor first-half record, mostly thanks to the newfound pressure and stress that I had never experienced before (Trust me, it's a very difficult feeling to overcome), and thus was feeling intimidated and nervous every night. That I have never denied, which is why, as I said, I seriously thought about quitting early on. As we BOTH know, we produce our best work when we're having FUN with it, and clearly, I was not having fun early on when I felt all this pressure to the point where it felt like a chore. But I eventually settled down and became more comfortable, while starting to feel like myself and having fun with it again, and voila, you see the end results.
So YES, players who followed my first-half picks would have been down. But that's gambling, isn't it? You take a chance on someone, let alone a rookie at the pro level like me, and it's always possible. But I proved my worth with a
historic 63+% second half performance that lasted three months, didn't I? While leading the entire company for the regular season? The ends justify the means, and I proved my worth. Now that I know the pressure and stress that I will encounter, I'll be better prepared for the FIRST HALF in the upcoming season and won't experience those same first-half struggles.
See, did I deny anything there?
