Part of my point pocket. You do win or lose something depending how you handle short term circumstances. Like...... if the dealer is ripping the table in an odd way.... you know the "math" makes no sense.... but you still better get your buns up and take a walk.

Some have the heard the story.... I sat with a guy for quite a while at the Mirage years back. Guy got 7 blackjacks in the SAME shoe. Never raised his bet!

Not saying this stuff makes sense. Not saying it adds up mathematically. Just saying.... make some reasonable adjustments.... or stay home and just mail it in with one of these envelopes. They will give people all the envelopes they need and probably the postage too!

Packer, with all due respect, I guarantee you that I have tons more real-world experience than you at blackjack. But that is besides the point.

This has absolutely NOTHING to do with "long term" or "short term." NOTHING. I'm not hiding behind stats at all. I'm stating something very simple that you have yet to get through your head.

One thing for sure. If you are counting and playing more than 17 cents per hand..... You will be kicked out of the joint sooner rather than later. Why.... because there are so many other shitbirds out there that they can skin. People who don't even understand basic strategy.


And Zit... I disagree with your experience outweighing mine..... but how would I know.... and that could be measured different ways anyhow! But again, I am out and bow to your Yoda-like billion years of math fortified BJ endurance.
