Funny start time for the Nucks and Avs tmr. Although Vcr did not show up for the first 10 minutes of the CGY they did out play the flames the last 50 minutes. Luongo looked much sharper in the back half of the game as well.

Will try U5.5 -120 1* in colorado saturday morning and see how that plays out.

You did not just compare the Flames to the Laughs did you? That organization is complete joke and will extend its streak of missing the playoffs this year as well. Have you even watched a Flames game or even seen these players excluding Dawes play for the Flames last year? Cause if you did you would see Borque who scored 21 goals in 58 games all even strength and if it wasn't for his injury would easily have hit the 30 goal mark. David Moss is another 20 goal scorer who played the majority of his time on the 3rd line. He is now on the 1st line playing with Iggy and Jokinen and will also be on the 1st unit PP so i don't see why he can't easily hit the 30 goal plateau. Glencross will see a lot more ice time from last year and could see him raising his goal tally from 13 to 20+. Boyd who got shafted by Keenan last year was a healthy scratch and played the majority of his time on the 4th line and still managed to score 11. He'll get a lot more ice time this year and is a very skilled forward that can put in his share of goals. Nystrom and Sjostrom are 4th liners so why did you bring them up? There still very skilled and can pop in the few goals here and there but i never said they were 20 goal scorers. The thing with the Flames is that they can roll 4 lines easily and can score on every line. Even the defense is very capable of putting up points with Jbo, Phaneuf, Gio and Regehr.

All the "so called experts" are saying that the Flames are going to struggle scoring goals this year because 1 guy is gone. Ya he scored 39 goals last year but put anybody next to Iggy and he'll score a lot of goals too. He definitely will be missed but the Flames have a lot of depth and players eager to prove themselves. Will it happen? Don't know but I'm eager to watch and find out.

The Canucks canceled their morning skate today to have a team meeting with coaches and go over some film from the Colorado game. The problem in Col was the Avs forwards were given a clear path to the Canucks net. Although our puck possession has been superior in both games we have very little to show for it.

I think being at home will give the Canucks a little boost and they will play with some extra effort, but Steve Mason is so sound and they have had trouble beating him in the past.

Wow the knives are out in Vancouver this morning, once again confirming in my mind we have the worst fans on the planet. Did you know that when you go to a CFL game here they have a guy on the sidelines with a microphone telling you when to cheer.

Everyone is calling local radio morning show questioning Luongo's play and leadership. Sure he has looked shaky be he always starts slow he is a positional goal that needs a minor tune up. What's more of a problem is our new players & young guys are also struggling which is leading to too many turnovers and odd man rushes. The only line that is working is the Sedin's line.

What's worse is my record time to turn that around.

as bad as they've looked, there's got to be a silver lining..
they've had 35, 42 and 43 shots in each of their 3 games, and almost doubling their opponents' shots in those 40 shot games..
twice they ran into superb goaltending in Anderson and Mason, and in the CGY game they just came out flat..

it's still early.. we went through this in Toronto a few years ago but we're used to it now!! maybe you guys will be soon too!

Hi Globulous Yes they have done a much better job of hitting the net with their shots from the point. erhoff scored a goal last night that was along the ice and in a corner of the net. Mitchell also potted one from the blue line, we'll be fine the kids gotta get figured out....

Cant believe all the homers out here will to throw there money on the Canucks tonight. Cant back that team til they get a few wins under their belt.

Will go with the PENS/YOTES U6 3*. Both teams in the front half of b2b games, I can see a very defensive low scoring affair.

By the way if it does go under I will throw 2 units on the over in VCR but wont be around to post.
