Mariah Carey took a Jackson 5 classic and turned into her own #1 hit.....of course, with her voice, it wasnt too hard...this one surpassed the original i believe...

club Nuveau scored their only major hit with the old Bill Withers classic, when they added a funky beat and leant their song to a really great movie "Lean on Me"...

Flo-rida took a crappy record by Dead or Alive and made it worse. Of course it's all over the radio now.

well, i have to admit, i liked the original, i dont like the remake....but in all fairness, i was a teen in the 80's and 80's music is the bomb to me...i loved it....all the 1 hit wonders and all, made for a great era of music....i consider myself a trivia buff when it comes to 1 hit wonders, and 80's music.....my favorite era of all time.....so the synthesizer laden original, is pure music to me....

Bucsfan, quite wasting your time listening to all that crap you've listed here. Go out and listen to some good music. Whitney Houston? Good lord.
