2 questions:

Why is he 100% sure? I've seen no proof of anything. I view it as very likely he was going to be stiffed himself but that is not 100%

I've read the entire thread and there is no proof the guy is a scammer. There are lots of shady things, but no proof.

like I said. james t kirk said he needed a place to play. he sent me his email addy I passed it on to a guy who was taking my bets, thinking I would help this loser out. Then he lost and started crying about being scammed. He keeps saying he knows 100% he was being scammed.Then was he that stupid to bet all weekend knowing he would not get paid. That really makes nio sense.The like a little baby he starts blaming me. he kept sending me pm's I hope your guy is legit. I hope he pays. All I said was I have been paid before by this guy. It appears Funty was totally full of shit about everything he represented to Kirk, and there was no 3rd party agent. I think Funty was scamming Kirk, and the way he talks, I'm thinking he could never pay up. Kirk however, should have called Funty out once he became suspicious and stopped making bets, although gamblers do make some weird decisions sometimes.

Kirk's trust was violated, Funty was the provocateur. Kirk should have cut & run sooner. That doesn't make what Kirk did right, but it is a mitigating factor.
