This is a common strategy for deadbeats. Once was given a check for a very large sum of $ which I obviously was a little skiddish about but figured this may be my on ly chance to get paid. Quite surprisingly the check bounced and the deadbeat was unreachable so I looked up phone # that matched the address on the check and when I called his mother answered and miraculously this scumbag calls me right away and says if I call again he's calling the cops. Be careful funnyt these people are the scum of the earth and will gladly rat you out if you give them any excuse to.
