Cam should be better year 2....but no one is going to fix his inaccuracies or make him get rid of the ball faster.
He's doomed with those qualities.

Defense will have to carry this team to the playoffs.

In this age of Passing game "protection" a defense cannot carry a team anymore. Every successful team must have an offense that scores on time consuming drives which allow the defense to get rest from the endless attempts to get to the QB and the effort expended to cover receivers on virtually every play.

The Pats had very possibly the worst offense in the NFL last year but a pretty good defense. Not enough. The offense has to do its part. They must improve considerably.

yeah, unfortunately not happening with an aging run first QB as their best offensive weapon.

I know you guys saw him play more than I did last year, but maybe he wasn't fully recovered from his midfoot injury. This injury takes long af to heal and is a very tricky injury. I think most people consider it not as serious as say an ACL, but the recovery time in most cases is a lot longer for lisfranc injuries. The only reason I know is that I have the same shit lol. I learned a lot about it and it's a bitch.I was surprised at the recovery time ( it can take years) and some people never fully recover. There's also a chance that arthritis will set in. This injury would definitely affect a QBs throwing. I think it's a factor in all this. I was surprised when they resigned him, but I'm speculating that BB is figuring that he wasn't fully healthy along with it being his first year with NE, so he's giving him another shot.

You're giving me a little hope, Joe.

We need that here. Definitely not used to seeing the kind of inept offense we had here, really the last two years, even with Brady.
