New Orleans has always been and will remain vital as a shipping port, but to call a city with 40% of it's residence living off the gov't teet a jewel is just preposterous. Oh did I forget to mention that mother nature caused the destruction and that taxpayers have now poured more money into NO. than in it's entire history? Bush cut taxes, Obama said he was going to repeal Bush's tax cuts, today Obama admits cutting taxes was the right thing to do and wants to CUT TAXES MORE.

Bush increased spending, my biggest if not only real problem with him. Obama campaigned against the deficit, funny for an earmark whore, and now wants to spend 1 trillion dollars more and wants to grow the deficit significantly.

Bush implemented an economic stimilus rebate. Obama wants to do it again.

Bush supported the bailout of everything, actually a second problem I have with him (although this is closely related to spending). Obama wants more money for more bailouts.

So for all you cheerleaders that need hope and think things are changing, you're wrong. Obama is Bush on steroids.

Thus proving how all that campaign rhetoric was really a bunch of lies, but y'all still don't see it.

I wish Obama well. I'm confident that our economy will survive this downturn and prosper, just like it as for over 200 years and many a recession. He'll get credit for the eventual rebound, which will happen no matter what he does.

This post can all be summed up by what i always say, whats the common denominator of a Republocrat? (R) will Cut taxes and spend (because they just mount deficits) while (D) will increase taxes and spend, making the deficits small, but again, its over taxation. So the common denominator is?

SPENDING.

Now a funny thing is happening now, that Wullie is pointing out. The savior is now advocating tax CUTS????? But how does he pay for all these great ideas? Easy, just call an audible and use the Republican playbook.

So what Obama is essentially is doing is the EXACT same thing W did. Give tax cuts while increasing spending thus resulting in record deficits. I even heard BO say we would be running TRILLION dollar deficits for the next few years, and you people FUCKING CHEER HIM?????????????????

So you see boys and girls, when you tax something or someone you reducing their spending and purchasing power thus giving them less economic freedom because your putting more faith in the government spending it more wisely then the person being taxed can. Now a neOcon would say that the Republicans do just this, they cut taxes and give you more freedom, but they spend like liberal whores and run huge deficits, and how do you pay for this? Through treasuries (or basically IOUs with interest) and inflation, witch is without question an invisible tax.
