Luckily for me, I haven't lost much overall. I've won most of it back playing BJ this week. I would be down $6K based on baseball picks, but with BJ, I am down only $800.

But that is what I was talking about when I said I was going to stop. When I go on a losing streak, I don't always chase with more bets, it's sometimes with BJ. I am very lucky I didn't end up losing over $10K this week which could've happened if I lost at BJ. This week, the chasing worked out and cut my losses substantially.

risk management probably; for instance the Dodgers are on a RL of +155 so he probably bets them on that RL as normal bet, but puts them in a parlay on the ML.

Yep, I stated in an earlier thread that depending on what the ML odds are, I may use ML in the parlay rather than all RL's. All of my straight bet plays are the exact plays listed though. Since I don't count any parlays on the record or the units won or lost, I don't bother posting what my exact parlay is.

Just when I thought it couldn't get any worse it does. Just horrible right now. 2-5 on the day.

Old System:

62-54 (+17.10 units)


New System:

ML Favs: 0-0
ML Dogs: 3-1 (+7.80)
RL Favs: 46-56 (+23.65)
Totals: 13-8 (+12.60)

Total: 62-66 (+44.05 units)

Grand Total: 124-119 (+61.15 units)

Nope. My bad that's for sure. Thank goodness I've managed to cut my losses significantly with BJ this week. Seriously, with baseball alone, I should be down close to $8K for the week. I'm still down, but not even close to that. Hell, I'm not even down $2K for the week. Still not acceptable. Tomorrow is the last day for the betting week and if it's another bad day, some adjustments will have to be made.

I'd advise anyone still following to proceed with caution. Could be tomorrow we break out of the slump, could be another week. If you are still playing these plays, please do not chase, stay the course and stick to your flat bets. BOL!!

Another rough day:think2: Damn this is frustrating.

No, it's not frustrating. It's infuriating now. I am pretty pissed off at this point. I've got one more adjustment in mind and haven't implemented it because I wanted to ride this out to see if it swings back. If it doesn't swing back tomorrow, Monday will be the first day with the added adjustment.

I wanted to say thank you to everyone for not bashing during this losing streak. I know it gets tempting when you lose this many days in a row. However, we are still up over 60 units, which it appears most of you realize and that's why the bashing has been kept at bay.

5-0 today would erase the entire bad week. Don't laugh, it's happened quite a few times already.

And of course, I will parlay all of the sides. $100/$11,552 @)

I think most of the people that are still following you are the ones that are in it for the long haul, and not expecting you to make them rich in one day. Therefore, I would not expect any bashing. Everyone realizes there will be ups and downs throughout the season. Keep up the good work. This thing will turn around for the better. Just have to get thru this minor rough patch.
