At least we know we won't have an 0fer day. Can't have a perfect day without winning the first.

This makes up for last night's debacle involving the Cubs. Nice comeback by them to get us the early winner.

1 down, 7 to go. @)
Yeah great start thanks......I knew this play was coming....hard a hard time knowing it was the cubs :)<<

Yeah, I wasn't very happy to see Cubs either.....especially a RL play on them. But once again, my system proves my gut wrong.

Well 4-4, not much harm done. Down about 2.5 units on the day. Could've been worse, could've been better. I really hope we never have that many plays in a day again. I had over $9K of my bankroll exposed today...very nerve racking. Anyway, here is the update.

YTD Records:

ML Favs: 26-14 (+13.85)
ML Dogs (old system): 3-6 (-4.90)
ML Dogs (new system): 10-9 (+18.50)
RL Favs: 5-4 (+4.65)
Totals: 11-7 (+11.10)

Total: 55-40 (+43.20 units)

Nothing special to start the month. Let's see what the weekend holds for us.:toast:

With all due respect Broncos, I would be extra careful with the Padres. They had a hot start and now seems like cooling off. Besides Adrian Gonzales, there's no real threat in the line up. Headly and Huntly still have much to prove. Eckstein can work the pitch counts..but don't expect him to hit for power or average. I'm not saying it's a bad pick, but becareful with them. I've been following this team since 1984.

All I can say is thank goodness NYY were a RL play. Could have been a terrible loss if it were a ML play. Once again, while it didn't win us any money, the new RL system has saved us a bundle.

Very very bad day today. Not starting May off very well at all. Down about 5 units for the week. Hopefully we can still come out on top for the week. I'd hate to have our first losing week.

YTD Records:

ML Favs: 27-15 (+12.50)
ML Dogs: 13-17 (+7.60)
RL Favs: 5-5 (+1.05)
Totals: 11-7 (+11.10)

Total: 56-44 (+32.25 units)

Be back in the morning between 7 and 8am pacific.

Well guys, first I want to say sorry for the horrible weekend. 1-6 run over last 2 days, 5-10 since Friday. With that being said, still think it's premature to scrap anything or to change anything again. Bad runs happen to everyone as its a very long season. I'm going to see how this week goes and if not very good, changes will be made. All things considered, it is our first losing week of the season, but it was a pretty big losing week with 11 units being lost.

Proceed with caution for a while, if you are proceeding at all. We'll get through this tough stretch, I have confidence in the system.

YTD Records:

ML Favs: 27-15 (+12.50)
ML Dogs: 13-18 (+4.60) Really struggling as of late.
RL Favs: 5-5 (+1.05)
Totals: 11-8 (+7.80)

Total: 56-46 (+25.95 units) Still up.....trying to find the silver lining of this storm.

See you tomorrow!

Broncos do not worry...there is value in your system. I had to leave early this morning so was not able to wait for your selections. I went through the games and had to choose only sides because my book it was too early to get totals or R/L'S. So...just chose the sides that were greater than 60% in the Pick Center at 7:11 am CST...they were Blue Jays, Rays, Brewers and Dodgers...all winners...CWS still to be played..with my own selection have gone 5-0 so far today. Other than my own selection all were chosen based on Pick Center....just using the simple method of only over 60% on sides. We will get them over the long run..just be flexible and look at all sides of the equation..Good Luck...JJ

Broncos probably knows this already, but for those of you who have not bet baseball before, it is a very volatile game, and you're dealing with very small edges. Over the course of hundreds of games, a winning handicapper will show a nice profit.

One of the best and most respected baseball handicappers out there, Michael Murray, says "Keep in mind that you will lose ten games in a row at some point in the season, particularly if you play a lot of underdogs."
