I'm glad Griner has been freed, the punishment was way too severe. Having said that, it is reasonable to criticize Biden for
not being able to free Whelan given the background of the Russian that we are freeing.
Put yourself in Whelan's (and his family's) shoes. He served his country as a marine, and is sitting in a jail in Russia while guilty Griner, who
kneels at the American flag is set free, as the world celebrates, and he is forgotten.
