The last two fatal alligator attacks in Florida happened in 2007 and 2015.

Well let me be the Internet badass to say that there's no way a 4-7ft gator is devouring my infant unless he plans to devour me too...I mean if I was fighting with him, I'm not letting go for shit...

I thought the same thing when I read it. I'd go down to the death before the gator killed one of my sons. But, I don't know what happened here. That's tough to deal with.

I mean, I wouldn't let my kid anywhere near a fresh water lake at night in Florida but come on now, the kid was like two feet in and the dad jumped on the Gator in an effort to free his son. It wasn't like he was off at the bar having margaritas or something. He was standing there with his kid.

I can't even imagine....trying to free your child while he was being eaten alive.....incomprehensible.

The parents life are ruined. They will own Disney world, but it's not like they will care.

Make no mistake, I feel extreme remorse for the parents. But they did make a mess up by allowing their baby to be in the water in those circumstances.

Just a sad, horrific tragedy. My thoughts are with the people of Orlando this week for all they have been through.

Most definitely. The shock of it all changes the scenario instantly. Horrifying to think about.

If you're in Florida you basically have to assume that every body of water has atleast 1 alligator in it. They are everywhere down here and they are basically no problem ever.

No kidding. Don't even blink at the sight of a gator. There just kind of there and never mess with humans. If a human provokes they run.

You make a claim "they will own Disney World" yet express their negligence in the very next sentence. Don't get me wrong, they will most likely get money from DW just because DW can, but not bc DW should be held liable. And it won't be no rich money...

grab a the bull by the horn, you get the horn. Tread into a native animals habitat, you might get bit.

Just a terrible freak accident. Can't even imagine how parents are coping. Hope they can stay strong and somehow move on from this.

Disney did nothing wrong but they will still end up paying

like I said, that is no consolation anyway

Say an alligator is attacking your child what the hell do you even do to try and stop it. Guessing eye gouging is your only hope.
