stop, that's just wrong
accidents happen, tragedies happen
I could see me allowing my kid a little space and letting him walk near the water, nobody would expect that in Disney World and I doubt there was any time to react
If you're in Florida you basically have to assume that every body of water has atleast 1 alligator in it. They are everywhere down here and they are basically no problem ever.
I hear ya. Reminds me of my folks condo at Hilton Head when I was a kid. The river behind it hadI admittedly don't know the story but this is weird. I live an hour and change from disney and I ran maintenance at golf courses for about 15 years and have seen 1000's of gators. In every instance those gators do everything they can to get away from people. My guess is idiots have been feeding these gators for years and they got to comfortable around people. I live here and you almost never ever hear about a gator killing anyone.
the kid was in the water not on the shore
And I worked at Disney. there are signs EVERYWHERE to not get in the water under any circumstances.
if the parents don't let let him get him, the child is alive. that's a fact.
