I am in the middle of season 4 right now... so I am not reading updates... awesome show. I do, however, want to point out an inconsistency that really struck me while I was watching. Mind you.. I have done some marathon viewing over the last few weeks to get to mid-season four.. so the entire series is fresh on my mind...
** In season 3, Mike plants a bug in Walter's house and later, Gus and Mike review some recordings of Walter talking (arguing) with his wife.. Walter becomes aware of the bug and has Mike remove it. In season 4, Walter and Jesse are often seen talking about highly sensitive subjects inside Jesse's house. IMO, no way Walter would be discussing killing Gus inside Jesse's house. Not after he was bugged in his own house.
Because this is now my favorite show, I can get over it... but it still bothered me that the writer's overlooked this.
Another issue I have is that Walt and Skyler don't seem to even acknowledge that selling meth is potentially killing kids. They are too focused on the dangers of getting caught and not the moral issues one might associate with selling drugs on such a grand scale. especially Skyler. I find it unbelievable that she is somehow laundering money for the whole scheme. Selling meth is much more a moral issue than it is dangerous. the drug destroys lives, kids included if they use. Selling on such a large scale is surely something that most people would have difficulty coming to grips with.
Anyway... it's an awesome show. I just couldn't help but have these reactions after watching the first 4.5 season marathonlike.
