This was not the news I was expecting to hear. How can you be so stupid as to cause problems with your own team and soccer federation right before a huge game like this. These players have jeopardized their team and their country. So stupid. I am hoping that Ghana can stay focused on the task at hand and at least pull out a draw, which in turn will keep the parlay active. Getting through this 1st game with a Ghana draw or win I believe sets us up for what could be a massive pay day.
I like the USA/Deutchland draw and under as well. Wet pitch, neither team will want players to get hurt in a game they dont need to win. I think Ill take USA +1/2 as well just in case they get lucky on one. Germany has a 99% chance of advancing due to goal differential. Im afraid of that Ghana Portugal game. Portugal could pack it in in the 2nd half when they realize they arent going to win by the 4 or 5 goals they will need to in order to advance. Ghana is a basket case thinking about money and in-house turmoil.
i mean i hate to sound like a biggot but these african teams just don't have the focus and heart at times. add in all the off the field problems this team was going thru coming into this game makes it tough to back them even though they definitely had a chance to go ahead today Portugal really should have won by more.
Your speaking the truth. I lived in Africa for a long time and most of the players are playing for the paycheck to feed their families. I was a Chaplain for a certain countries team and if you had to deal with what they dealt with you would understand a little more. When your promised paychecks and they dont come that is a problem. Most African Countries dont have the budgets to support their teams like they should. The Africa Cup of Nations is more important to a lot of the teams then the World Cup.
