Did you forget to look at Manny's opponents??

Manny has a victory off Jeff Cox born in 1969, and 8-6 nate mohr??

You never even looked at manny's opponents because if you did you wouldn't have even posted that. You can't even find jeff cock on wiki-

Here's what I said about Manny's opponents:

Gamburyan beat Joe Lauzon and was about even with Nate Diaz before separating his shoulder in the TUF finale. He even hung tough with Sean Sherk many years ago, losing a decision. Tavares hasn't beaten anyone of note and got KO'd by Matt Wiman, their one common opponent. Gamburyan beat Wiman by dominating the ground game in the TUF quarters I believe.

Tavares has beat no one. And you can't give Gamburyan a hard time for beating which ever bum the UFC put in front of him.

I bet Sean Sherk would make quick work out of Tavares , I would fancy Lauzon and Diaz to beat him as well ...
You realize that Manny was 20 yo when he fought with Sean Sherk who atm has 33-3 record and he went to decision with him . Clearly Tavares fought 10 bums before coming to UFC where he is 0-3 in UFC events and 3-0 in UFN events against lower tier opponents . Cox might not be on wikipedia but his sherdog fight finder record is 10-6 unlike that 4-7 of Omigawa Tavares has fought last year and beat in an IMPRESSIVE WAY ... by decision ... his other win against Kotani was also by decision , thank god he atleast managed to finish Jason Black ...
Cox has fought some solid guys like Thiago Silva and Gleison Tibau . Unlike Tavares who has beat two scrubs by decision , Manny finished both Cox and Mohr in combined 3 min 12 seconds and they are about same level of Tavares's opponents if not better .

WTF is this shit

I bet there is a lot of insight on Michihiro Omigawa or Naoyuki Kotani at wikipedia ...

Have you seen a fight of Taveras? Do you know WTF you're talking about? Thiago had Kurt on his back in the 2nd rd and fell to an armbar and he went the distance with Tyson Griffin who TKO'ed the shit out of Faber. So yea who is Jeff Cox and WTF does 10-6 mean when you're fighting nobody. You think 5' 5'' stubby leg Manny will catch an armbar? Just because you beat off watching TUF every season doesn't mean these fighter are shit. How can you bash Taveras' record and leave out Manny, you're just looking for excuses to bet him

You left out the part where in his last fight Emerson KO'ed him before he could put his hands up. Are you betting or rooting for favorites?

onemorebet: what the fuck is wrong with you?

this is brainiac's thread. if you don't agree, just stay the hell out or make your own thread. Weren't you also in core42's thread giving him shit about betting favorites? if anyone is a tumor here, it's your dumb ass. You've hit up every single MMA betting board acting like a goddamn disrespectful know-it-all. I'm sick of your shit and I'm sure a lot of others are too.

let me add something in brainiac`s thread if i might... i have a gut that penn wins this...i think maybe he wants it more...and i thought gsp looked gaunt at the weigh-in...

i`m going against my better judgement because i really think that penn has bad cardio...

i`ve always believed that cardio is like foot or hand speed...or reflexes....you can tweek it..make it a "little" better...but,if you don`t have it...you don`t have it....it`s genetic.....

i guy that gases is still going to gas when pushed to the extreme...while other guys just seem to have that extra tank...

b.j. isn`t one of those guys...

still,i just feel like this won`t be gsp`s night....

i`ve been wrong before...lol

Gaunt??

Remember that weigh ins are the day before so he has plenty of time to put back any fluids & this is a cut he makes all the time...looks pretty good to me

we`ll see....i kinda think gsp is the epitome of class...i`d actually like to see the "nice guy" win...

but, pictures aside,i didn`t like the gsp i saw at the weigh-in...i`m guessing that 185 is in his immediate future...

I am not sure yet , if I can get Penn at + 160 or higher think I will give it a try .

Sat 1/31

Ultimate Fighting Championships 94

Stephan Bonnar vs Jon Jones

My pick is Stephan Bonnar to win

Odds : - 145

Where : pinnaclesports

4.35 units to win 3 units

Not very confident with Bonnar's long layoff but at those I must take him . He has only lost to Forrest Griffin x 2 , close decision to Rashad and TKO due to a cut against Lyoto Machida ... no shame here .
