Still looking , I only use few bookmakers , gamebookers has every h2h with under $100 win limit so I am checking h2h's at unibet and sportingbet .

Hello, Brainiac and Chris! I'm back onboard as well and looking forward to continue this successful thread. I'm pretty unprepared though and got no clue so far about anything regarding the biathlon season. I hope I'll have the time to check some info in the next days, so I will be able to participate here and provide some useful opinion. Good start btw, Brainiac!

Biathlon - Women: World Cup 7,5 km Sprint Ostersund- Matchups

Kati Wilhelm vs Magdalena Neuner

My pick is Kati Wilhelm ahead of Magdalena Neuner

Odds : - 152

Where : pinnaclesports

3.8 units to win 2.5 units

Tough to pick anything today for me , either my bookies don't have the h2h I see somewhere else or odds are way too low .
Both had 1 error in the first face and Wilhelm finished 36 seconds in front of Magdalena . I think Neuner wont able to have another good shooting result like she did in the previous race where Wilhelm is a better % shooter than Neuner and with same amount of errors I think Wilhelm can win too as Neuner doesn't look like in full shape right now .

For some reason odds on Sleptsova are very low today and people think she will get good results ...

i completely agree...wilhelm is running superb in shooting is solid as usual. neuner is still out of form in running coming back from a cold in november.
it s my biggest play.

i am still thinking about Ioureva over Berger and
Liu (seems to be very solid this season) over Boulygina(had terrible shooting yesterday)

BTW,all german, besides Wilhelm, seemed to be not as fast running as usual in last race. Wilhelm is practicing with new coach during off season..maybe that s the reason why she was so much faster then the other germans yesterday

Getting for the race tomorrow early , hopefully it pays off . Gonna post plays as I place them . + 10 units would be nice after the Oscar De La Hoya boxing loss .

Alexander Os (NOR) vs Alexander Wolf (GER)

My pick is Alexander Os (NOR) to finish ahead

Odds : 1.75

Where : betandwin

4 units to win 3 units

Os is starting 6.2 sec behind Wolf but he had 2 errors more so he almost made it up in just 10 km .
I think Os is in very solid form both shooting and running , if they have same amount of errors Os will finish ahead I have almost no doubt about it . Os can make up around 2 errors with running and I think he wont make 2 errors anymore in one prone shooting position like in the previous race . Wolf made 4 errors in the first 20 km race to just 2 of Os who could win it all wouldn't he miss last two out of 20 shots .

Nice odds considering Os will most likely make up those 6.2 seconds on Wolf already before the first shooting and then I think his chances aren't bad to have a better shooting result than Wolf either , he is also faster and can make up up to 2 errors on Alexander Wolf , count me in .

Looks like Wolf isn't 100 % ready after a cold , the better for my bet .

Halvard HANEVOLD (NOR) vs Michael Greis (GER)

My pick is Michael Greis (GER) to finish ahead

Odds : 1.70

Where : sportingbet

5 units to win 3.5 units

Greis will start 9 seconds behind Hanevold but I don't think it's such a big deal here . Greis is in great form , got a little bit unlucky with the 2 errors in standing position but overall he is faster than old Hanevold and in shooting they equal I would say . Both had 1 error in the first 20 km race but Hanevold was almost 2.10 min slower , in that time Greis would be able to run about 5 penalty loops !

Counting on Greis to have good result in this race , Hanevold most likely wont make many errors so Greis better shoot well too .

and last bet for men race

Tomasz Sikora vs Ole Einar Bjoerndalen

My pick is Tomasz Sikora to finish ahead

Odds : - 118

Where : pinnaclesports

2.95 units to win 2.5 units

Ole Einar will start 15.5 seconds behind and overall Sikora is in best form , Bjoerndalen still not there . Think this is a solid bet especially given Sikora's form both shooting and running is better than that of Ole Einar atm .

i like three matchups

Sleptsova over berger @ 1.97

yesterday sleptsova shoot one error, while berger o...still sleptsova only 10 sec behind
in single race berger was 1.30 min faster then sleps, but sleps had 3 more errors (3 extra min)

Wilhelm over BEck: Wilhelm @ 1.75 !! 2 units!!

WIlhelm much better in running...Beck mainly shooting well right now, but for me Wilhelm is even in shooting on sam elevel.yesterday both with 1 error and Wilhelm is 5 sec ahead.
in single both head one error and wilhelm was 1,57 min faster

Sleptsova over Neuner: Septsova @1.82

Neuner has improved a lot in shooting, still slepsova in an amazing runnning form.she is just 7 sec behind although having one errpr with neuner 0
in single neuner shot 1 error and sleps 5 still just 2,22 min ahead..meaning sleps took 1,38 min from her in running...if she can keep shooting somehow close to 1 ot 2 errors (which should be possible) she should finish ahead

Biathlon - Women: World Cup 10km Pursuit Ostersund - Matchups

Oksana Khvostenko vs. Albina Akhatova

My pick is Oksana Khvostenko to finish ahead

Odds : - 132

Where : pinnaclesports

3.3 units to win 2.5 units

19 seconds ahead of Akhatova and Khvostenko is one of the most stable shooters out there , running they are pretty equal . 19 seconds already gives a huge edge to Khvostenko which is almost a penalty loop .

Kati Wilhelm vs Martina Beck

My pick is Kati Wilhelm to finish ahead

Odds : 1.80

Where : unibet

5 units to win 4 units

Agree with chris here .

Magdalena Gwizdon (POL) vs Daria Domratschewa (BLR)

My pick is Daria Domratschewa (BLR) to finish ahead

Odds : 1.95

Where : betandwin

4 units to win 3.8 units

Betting against Gwizdon here rather than on Domratschewa . Gwizdon had 13 errors out of 20 shots in the first event , last place out of 100 ! Domratschewa will start 5 seconds ahead as well and I think Gwizdon has some problems shooting , Daria has the edge in running too . Value bet here .

Sportingbet and unibet both have only 1.72 on Domratschewa vs Gwizdon .

Women race : 2-1 + 1.3 units

Today : 4-2 + 3.3 units

All in all OK day but 3-0 in either men or women race would be much better .

70-33 +168.28 units
