Avalanche ML (+115), 1*
Kings ML (+105), 1*
I will bet a couple dogs that nobody wants. Avalanche have lost three straight out of the break. Florida has been very good this year. Kings have stunk at home and were really scuffling heading into the all-star break. Oilers are on a 17-1 run. Let’s see if one or both of these dogs can turn things around. Colorado and LA both have plenty of talent and will snap out of these skids. Hopefully that happens tonight for at least one of them. Good luck.

Minnesota was in Vegas last night for the Super Bowl. Maybe the Wild have the Vegas flu tonight. Also, I am looking to bet teams like Vegas and the Kings at reasonable prices. Hill is back for the Knights and they are showing signs of a team who has a nice run coming. I believe the Kings more closely resemble the team they showed in 2023 versus 2024. I bet them successfully Saturday against Edmonton and will continue to look for spots to bet them as well. GL

Penguins ML (-120), 2*
Great spot for the Penguins. The Kings are 4-9 in their last 13 road games. They are playing their third game in four days, all on the road. They had a nice win in Boston on Saturday, albeit somewhat fortunate, but had to empty the bucket to pull the game out in overtime. The Penguins have had two days off in between games. They ended their three game losing streak in Chicago and should be able to make it two in a row. Pittsburgh can still make a playoff run. I don’t really believe in Detroit or New Jersey and the teams are pretty clustered who are battling for the final playoff spot. Seven points separates five teams, including Pittsburgh. The Penguins have to get hot now and this spot can’t get much better for them. Good luck!

What started out as a crappy night, turned around nicely with Toronto easily cashing and Boston pulling their game out in OT after blowing two third period leads. That’s three times in the last two nights that the team I bet on had a 2+ goal lead, squandered it and won in OT. The end result is all that matters, despite my stress level being severely elevated during these games.
There is another side and a total that I am passing on at the moment. If that changes, I will update after the starting goaltenders are announced. GL
