Pacers +5 (-105), 1*
Anthony Edwards over 26.5 (-110), 1*
Brandon Ingram over 28.5 (-110), 1*

Ingram’s point total went up with Zion being ruled out. It was 25.5. I’m still going to bet the over. Somebody has to score tonight for the Pelicans. Ingram will be the guy and I think 30 points is very reasonable. GL

I bet five player props yesterday. The three I didn’t post won (Davis, White, Pritchard), and the two I posted lost. Should have posted all or nothing. Still turned a small profit yesterday, just annoyed that the losing props cut into my success on the sides. No games today, enjoy the day off.

Tatum over 30.5 points (-105), 1*
Lakers +4.5 (-110), 1*
Raptors +11 (-108), 1*
Paul George over 20.5 points (-120), 1*

Playing a couple motivation spots with the points props. Tatum’s first game against Golden State after Kerr barely played him in the Olympics. Brown is out for Boston. On the Sixers side, George is facing his former team in LA. He played 32 minutes in his first game back, so clearly there’s no minutes restriction. He got his first game in already, which I like.

I am playing against the line move on the Lakers. I know Davis and Hachimura are out, but I don’t think the Lakers should be 4.5 point dogs. I bet the Bucks the other night in a similar spot when Giannis sat and the line almost got to 10. I think this like has gotten too high as well. GL

Raptors got outscored by 19 in the fourth quarter and George came up three points short. I thought I was going to get a split at worst last night. It might be a pass for me tonight with only three games on the board.

I am going to bet the Nuggets, but I want to know if Murray is playing or not. I will add them to my card once I know. GL

Murray is expected to play. Jaquez is being held out one more game due to conditioning purposes after he battled an illness.

I might bet Atlanta tonight. Let’s see if Lavine comes back for Chicago. GL

The Hawks have been my kryptonite this season. They got outscored by 20 in the fourth quarter tonight in their own building. There are 1-2 bets I might make tomorrow. Let’s see what the injury reports look like.

Toronto played hard last night. They beat the Kings outright recently. They are short on talent, particularly without Barnes and Bruce Brown. However, they do seem to be battling most nights. Not much travel from the Clippers to the Lakers arena’s.

Jaren Jackson Jr. over 23.5 points (-115), 1*
Anthony Davis over 29.5 points (-115), 1*

Chet getting hurt five minutes in was really a death blow. OKC has no playable size without him. Hartenstein, Kenrich Williams and Jaylin Williams have all been out since the start of the season. They could not afford to lose Chet. Let’s hope these big men can stay healthy and play their full allotment of minutes.

I do lean Portland +1 with all the bodies Memphis is missing. Portland just doesn’t have a lot of talent. To Memphis’s credit, they are 6-4 despite not having Jackson Jr. to start the year or Morant right now. They have also been without Smart and Bane and aren’t sure when either of them will be back. They found a way to beat the Lakers on Wednesday. They beat Orlando early in the year when they had Banchero and Carter. The Nets have really been their kryptonite for whatever reason. I think Portland should probably be favored by a point or two, but this game is essentially a toss-up. No need to get involved.

I plan to bet Indiana, but it has been one-way traffic on Orlando. This line opened Indiana -2.5 and the Magic just became one point favorites. I’m going to wait and see who is playing for Indiana. If they have everyone other then Nesmith and Nembhard who is significant, I’m going to bet them. Apparently there’s no reason to rush and get that bet in.

I also am thinking about betting the Celtics. Having watched last night’s game, they just didn’t bring the effort on defense. Clearly underestimated the Hawks due to their depleted roster. I expect Horford to sit as he usually does in back to back’s. Maybe they give Tatum a night off to rest his ankle he rolled against Milwaukee. I might be able to get a better number by waiting. Boston is not an unfocused team this year. They aren’t mailing it in for the early part of the season, they just had a bad night. Brooklyn pushed them to overtime last week, so Boston isn’t going to overlook them. I will wait to bet this game and Indiana until closer to game time.

I think the Bulls are a bad matchup for the Knicks. Chicago is first in the league in pace, which isn’t great for a team that is playing them on the second night of a back to back. Also, Thibs plays his starters big minutes, which isn’t the most beneficial in spots like this. GL
