It would still be a possibility, but it's pretty obvious the Sox hitters just didn't show up today. I know I'm sounding like a broken record, but Olson is a below average pitcher. If this were an important game, say a playoff game, you can bet your ass they would have lit him up for 6 or 7 runs. They just took the day off. Unfortunately, this happens all the time in baseball. That's why it's so hard to win betting on it IMO.

I'm pretty sure Boston was -240, and the RL was around -125. That was about an hour before gametime though.

Thanks Simon. Yeah, bases is very unpredictable. A lot of games "look easy" every day, but they rarely are.

Anyone else notice the only guy to come up with a big hit for the Sox today is the one guy who DIDN'T play yesterday? Maybe they are all tired after playing extras yesterday. Then again, the M's players played extras too and they look a lot better.
