They need another hit. A sac fly or ground ball will get a run in, but will kill the rally. With the bottom of the order coming up they probably won't get the guy in from 1st with 1 or 2 outs.

Wow... HUGE break for Boston bettors here. The M's are actually bringing Corcoran in to a tie game. This guy can't hit the broad side of a barn. I guess they aren't using White or Kelley because they both pitched yesterday. If the Sox are going to do it, they will probably have to do it here. Most of the other relievers in the M's pen are pretty good (with the exception of Batista).
