I would have bet Northern Kentucky at -1, but a betting group bet/released Oakland as one of their plays tonight and that moved NKU to a small dog. I disagree with the movement and will take the better number in the process. I lean Detroit as big dogs against Wright State. If I add that game and one other to my card, I will update. GL

UT Martin/Western Illinois under 145.5 (-110), 1*
Purdue -17.5 (-105), 1*
BYU -11 (-110), 2*
-11.5 is ok in the BYU game as well. I really like this spot for them. K-State lost four straight before upsetting Kansas. Now they go to BYU which is a tough place to play. The Cougars have defeated Texas by 12 and Iowa State by 15 at home in conference play. I believe this is a 15+ point win for them today. Two unit bets are 6-2 on the season so far. I will probably add more later. GL

What a collapse by BYU last night. They were up 16 with maybe 6 min left and K-State cut the deficit to 2 with a minute to go. That’s the worry when you bet double digit favorites. There is a chance they take their foot off the gas. They know they will win the game and unlike us, aren’t concerned with the spread. Good luck and enjoy the Super Bowl.

What a collapse by BYU last night. They were up 16 with maybe 6 min left and K-State cut the deficit to 2 with a minute to go. That’s the worry when you bet double digit favorites. There is a chance they take their foot off the gas. They know they will win the game and unlike us, aren’t concerned with the spread. Good luck and enjoy the Super Bowl.

I am definitely looking at Texas Tech tomorrow night. This is the same tough spot that Kansas faced last Monday. They played Houston on a Saturday, won a physical game and then had to turn around two days later and play at Kansas State. I bet Kansas State and they won outright in overtime. Kansas had a physical game with Baylor on Saturday night and have to play at Texas Tech two days later. The Red Raiders also played Saturday, but they have the benefit of having played that game at home. I could lay -2.5 right now on Texas Tech, but I wonder if Kansas will take some money tomorrow. Teams like Kansas, Duke, UNC and Kentucky, aka some of the blue bloods, often get bet on gameday partially because of name value and reputation. I will look at the market tomorrow morning and decide if I want to bet at that time or wait until closer to tip-off.

I wish I bet -2.5 last night, but I still like betting this under 4. I am going to wait until closer to tip-off before I lock in my bet, just in case there is money that comes in on Kansas late.
