I saw a free screening last week and i'm probably going to go again this weekend. I'm sure many people will see it twice this weekend, w/ different groups of friends.

Its that good.

its doing sick #'s...my theatre was unlike anything ive ever seen (i never saw POC2 so i cant compare to that monster)...the line was out the door an hour before the show...it was like going to a redsox game indoors it was that packed...i asked the guy how many it held and he said 500+ seater...the theatre by fenway park was sold out all shows by 5pm...they added a 1210 1220 and 1240...

we most def have a winner on our hands that for sure...NF just posted early #'s and even those are higher than saw3's (remember far less theatres).....for those who want to read deadlinehollywooddaily.com already has a little bit of info on borat and the early afternoon shows...not that i take her word on the potential early weekend #s worth a grain of salt...she is saying the same that we are...movie is doing redonk #'s...

the sad part was i came away disappointed big time...didnt think it was that great at all...makes me question last weeks saw debacle even more...christ i came away from that thinking that movie would get decent wom...i honestly dont get where all this wom is coming from on this movie...i was with 9 people total and the felt pretty much the same way..it was OK...but it certainly didnt live up to the hype...

moore's 9/11 is #1 i think...that averaged like 28k per...and well over 20million...nf says 20 is almost in the bag for this one...sick...one boston theatre did 59K alone...it has to be amc fenway bc they added all those shows....

pinny should grade everything today and they might get people too give some money back....i shutter to think what they lost on this movie this weekend...i know its a drop in the bucket for a shop like that...but its still gotta sting....

They won't lose anything----all the early dumb money was on the under. It got pounded day after day. They will make money on this.

i disagree...they opened it with 100maxs and were quick to adjust....when it finally got to 11million the maxs were 350...and it moved 5 times...

i think they got crushed...and on the other ones too as they were shorts...i believe that kids movie got pounded with under money late as someone said it was -200 to the under...

fwiw borat did like 9m on friday...congrats to everyone i think we all cleaned up...more than made up for last weeks saw3

Weekend estimates from BOM;

Borat 26.375
SC3 20
Flush 19.1

Incredible 31k+ per theatre for Borat. Flushed with a very strong Saturday at 8.5 mill, Over 17.5 is basically in the bank.

Well done for those folks with a positive outlook. Should have just followed the money on Borat and had myself an easy weekend. :(

I liked it when first saw the line come put. Kept saying this is going over no matter what. Even when the line went down and being bet under. Should have listened to my gut.

Congrats to all who won easy money.

How was the movie for those who saw it?
