Books and Players getting screwed cont.

There have been several accusations of such in the forum before and Dana came in and argued them atleast once I remember. Ultimately it is up to each of us to decide what we want to use. Thats one way to look at it. But i dont feel damned by letting this out to the public. Because I have nothing to hide. I think the industry would be stronger if all this was let out into the open.

I dont suppose you even got to hear about my dinner being interrupted the other night by a sportsbook owner and his son badmouthing the company I work with. Then after that night all the books on our screen are called and pressured to come off, a long with the controller, and other site sponsors, and im sure you.

I have nothing to hide... Anyone is welcome to stop by the office and look around at anything they wish. The only thing stopping me from posting emails is I dont want to put any of our friends at the books in hot water. We respect them and our players.

I cant wait to see when some of these premium books come over to our screen. I am almost certain that these threats on his end are empty, no way would he kick them off his screen... he would lose subscribers instantly, it doesnt make sense.

Just like you they cant do it out in the open, neither can they. I know you do the best you can do with the heat you catch, and I appreciate it.. but its time to let everyone in your forums know, and start protecting the bettors.

I can see his side of it too though. It is a fine line if you look at it from his angle. Bottom line everyone loves money.. thats what we are in this business for. He needs all the advertisers he can get.. But on the other side he has to protect his posters, because if he didnt have a lot of posters, the advertisers wouldnt pay him. There is also a good chance that he doesnt even know all the back-door shit that happens over there... and you cant blame him for that. I truly believe that if he knew everything, he would let these posts stand. The only thing he might know is that They dont let G&J post over here... I might be conflicted too if i was given the altimatum, take our money for advertisement and dont let G&J Post, or lose our money and let whoever post that you want.

I also know he cant let advertisers run rampant on this site. My other posts that were deleted were probably justified on his end. They were advertisements.. but not the posts yesterday, those were addressing real issues that everyone should be aware of.

It really does, but when you are a forum.. you are responsible for a lot of people. Therefor you should be held to a higher standard. I really want to keep the general out of it... Hopefully he will let this post stand, and put up the other so readers can see it. I think it is a very valid point.

Other than that.. lets leave the door open for a debate with rick. No phone calls, no emails, something for the general public to see.

Although I feel he will just lie, beacuse it wasnt long ago when he came on here and said that Don Best has no problems with competitors, all-the-while calling every book on our service pressuring them to come down. And not letting us in the formerly owned DB schedule, At least Jim Feist has some nuts and competitive spirit and lets us print an ad in his schedule. Nothing but respect for that classy move. (although judging by your name you dont want to hear that)

I really have nothing against Jim Feist, I made good money fading his picks on Pro Line last year,lol! He employs a lot of people and for that he is good! Just don't call his tool free # if you don't like to be cold called,lol! My mom before she died was 82,lol, I accidently called from her house on the toll free selection and for months was calling her and trying to get her to give them her CC#. I have issues with Jim Feist that caused me to have my id here as JimFiestSux! But as you see I have 2 letters reversed so actually I'm safe on a defamation charge,lol!

OK, then use GJ and get rid of DB, good luck. Don't forget GJ copied DB from top to bottom, that says enough about them, remember, the rich get richer. DB is better period.

juice11.......i have used both services g&j callback and the computer service.....currently dbs2k.....my point was the cost issue....and the main reason i use a service is for injury updates and scores..........as far as line moves....i will get them with or without a computer...

I didnt say G&J was better. You are entitled to that opinion.. in fact, I didnt want any customers from this thread. But you can keep your head up your ass and be moved around like a pawn on the chess board. Thats a choice you get to make and live with. Other people would rather use their brain and know about shitty situations when they happen. I am in the situation where i see the bullshit that happens behind closed doors, and I think you all should know about it too. If I wasnt involved with a line service I probably wouldnt even know it happened.

the biggest obstacle g&j faces is to convince the stellar books not to be afraid of donbest's black-mail tactics and threats until then its an uphill battle..

trying to convince people of what goes on behind the scenes is useless, imo...

why wouldnt a steller book want to be on as many live-line services as possible????..........they would.....but donbest wouldnt like that now would they.......

The reality is every bookmaker big enough to have an office and every serious sportsbettor must have a Don Best feed. Who cares about some 2nd rate line service's problems. The way to become 1st rate is make it imperative for every bookmaker and serious player to need their product, not cry on forums that the competition is not playing fair. Make your product an imperative and people will buy it.

I dont know how many of these books are GJ, they dont have a list on their web site
