Hopefully we can put this matter to rest once and for all. Truthteller is correct in saying that wise guys hit us hard, and I seriously doubt that we are the only book hit by them. The truth of the matter is that the wise guys won in football last year……they lost in basketball…..they won or are winning in golf & tennis….they won in baseball…..they will probably win in football this year, and I seriously doubt that they will have back-to-back losing years in basketball. They win almost every year hence the name wise guys.
Just because wise guys are winning doesn’t mean that we are losing. Believe it or not we are able to get buyback on their games. This is not our first year booking talent!!

If this is a source of concern for anyone then please do not play into us. We definitely don’t want anyone to feel like they are gambling on us before they post up. If you are currently playing into us and feel uneasy then by all means request YOUR money. When we were under attack about a month ago on both forums we ended up doing nothing but processing payouts for about a week and a half. Everybody got paid then and they will get paid now.

I agree with Shrink in that I believe this matter stems from early this summer and is now being rehashed on the forums.

I hope this helps out as I felt that it needed to be posted.

Best of Luck

I just don't understand why books even respond to this shit - it is never ending - every week some book is on the verge of going under - or redflagged - or whatever.

I have to say that was one of the best posts from a book I have seen here. Simple and to the point.

- Did not deny any of the "allegations". Instead just a simple this is not our first year booking talent. In other words they don't show you the door the first time you beat them, they know how to co-exist with wiseguys. Wiseguys earn, so what? In layman's terms, this ain't his first rodeo.

- He actually encouraged you to take your money out if you are concerned. LOL. Nothing personal guys but nothing turns me off more than someone sending me e-mails to ban so and so because he may cause a run on his book. We all get tired of completely baseless rumors but most understand who may be legit and who is a clown. It's the players money the books are holding anyway, Teddy even capitalized YOUR to denote he understands who's money he is holding. There is no better way to stop a run on the bank than encourage one, LOL. Act like you are petrified of players pulling their money out and you can count on it. Tell them it's here when you want it and most are satisfied.

- Though it is obvious the matter was from earlier this summer he did not try and shoot the messenger or paint anyone as a jackass here. It's your money guys, take it if you need it. Not the first time we got hit with mass withdrawals and probably won't be the last. Very professional attitude. Just the facts.

I talk to a lot of books and they say "nothing personal Patrick but I do not post on the forums". For the most part I understand. You got a business to run and once you start you can't hardly stop responding to the players. "He answered us yesterday, must be hiding somethng as he hasn't responded today". I'll give the books that, but when you come in and make a post like this when called upon are doing yourself and the book you represent a favor IMO. Players like to see the mannerisms of the folks holding our cheese. Good job sir, Teddy got game. Where do I send my money?

'Nuff said.

Lenny,

Maybe I know more about the gravity of the situation than you do.

I will say 1 thing. If they keep taking that kind of action, they will go out of business.
