this 'truthteller' is the same character who claimed to have 'inside' information on what happened at Wagers Paradise, but of course he would never give it up...
Hopefully we can put this matter to rest once and for all. Truthteller is correct in saying that wise guys hit us hard, and I seriously doubt that we are the only book hit by them. The truth of the matter is that the wise guys won in football last year……they lost in basketball…..they won or are winning in golf & tennis….they won in baseball…..they will probably win in football this year, and I seriously doubt that they will have back-to-back losing years in basketball. They win almost every year hence the name wise guys.
Just because wise guys are winning doesn’t mean that we are losing. Believe it or not we are able to get buyback on their games. This is not our first year booking talent!!
If this is a source of concern for anyone then please do not play into us. We definitely don’t want anyone to feel like they are gambling on us before they post up. If you are currently playing into us and feel uneasy then by all means request YOUR money. When we were under attack about a month ago on both forums we ended up doing nothing but processing payouts for about a week and a half. Everybody got paid then and they will get paid now.
I agree with Shrink in that I believe this matter stems from early this summer and is now being rehashed on the forums.
I hope this helps out as I felt that it needed to be posted.
Thanks for the info Ted. A lot of books really underestimate the value of a forum presence by the people who players are essentially blindly sending their money to.
thanks ted, i will continue to play at your book. i have lost much more than i have won, but never a problem when cashing out. you processed a withdrawal on sunday for me, when you payouts are not on sunday. i trust your book a lot more than most.
This is reminding of the local bookie scene where I walk into the bar after a week to settle up and there sits the bookie drunk, yelling out loud in front of the whole bar and everyone in there "Hey, there he is. He had a bad week. Sorry about that" or "Hey, there he is. He had a great week. Damn."
I did not like that nor did others as it is only two peoples business how I did. If i wanted others to know, then i would tell them.
I do not need to know how the bookie did over the week unless he wants to tell us.
This scenerio reminds me of those days not long ago.
Truth,
Keep on posting buddy.. thats what the forum is for. Everyone knows the mods are going to step in and defend one of their own. It's their job. You should of seen the 4 page hack job they did on me when I exposed Royal's problems. It's just the way the game is played..no biggie, we all have our place.
I know your info is good, you know its good, so why care about anything else?

Thanks for the props Buzz. One last thing, I ain't no JJgold. I work in this industry and have many contacts.

This has got to be a first. A book gets beat by a syndicate and pays everyone in a timely fashion only to get a self-proclaimed "insider" issue a warning about them. Unreal!
Please remember that Bluegrass is a real book,(ie, they take bets from everyone) therefore they are getting plenty of action on both sides of the game.
Keep up the good work Teddy Ballgame, you da man!
